Spoiler-ish Review: Was "Avengers: Endgame" Good?

Well, it depends on what you're looking for.  If you just want all the people who disappeared last year to come back, you'll be overjoyed.  However, if you want how the surviving heroes go about getting those people back to make any sense, well, you may end up tearing your hair out

I really liked it, but I agree with you that the first half concentrating on the characters after their 'failure' to save half the world and their friends was much better. Once the action started, it got pretty confusing and I had to ask my son to explain a few scenes to me! I admit I haven't seen every previous film, probably about two-thirds of them! I enjoyed Infinity War more, although the ending was so tragic. I agree with this too - "even those who offered some much-needed laughs did so with a kind of gallows humor, the depression and despair underwriting everything they did." - especially regarding Thor. And I really want there to be an As-guardians of the Galaxy movie, Quail, Rabbit and the Pirate Angel are such a great combination!
