My sis had one back in Nov. It went well. She has had no real probs from it. It hurt at first of course. Those expensive support type panties really help tho. And I guess it was about a week when she got to where she could putter around some...NOT housework work type stuff, but really easy shit, like sit and fold a load of clothes, make a small quick dinner, make tea, things like that. Didn't take her too long after that tho to SLOWLY work up to everything else tho. It was not a nightmare story. Love yous!

Nancy is right...easy does it and slowly get back into your "mom" role. My mom had one, a full one....I remember her in a lot of pain at first, unable to get out of bed, as a young teen it was kinda scary...but she had some problems that would have been serious if she waited. The procedure is fairly common, if you need someone to help do errands or basic house stuff, call me or someone please?? Please?

DO NOT kill yourself trying to make things work by yourself, you have friends who are willing to help in any way they can. This is something that will dramatically help your life. :) I will light a candle for you and for me, hopefully we will get some good results.
~Miss you!!!~

yep I have my hysterectomy six yrs ago. It was a very serious one considering i was born with one kidney and two uterus's.
Let's just put it like this.... this was the best thing that ever happened to me!
I'm so glad they gave me a hysterectomy.
I have nothing bad to tell you because my operation went very well.
Yes, it was painful at first but it got better very soon and I was able to go back to work in six weeks.
as far as the house work goes don't worry about it. I promise you it will still be there waiting for you when you feel up to doing it. LOL!
Please just know that we are all praying for you and that everything will be fine.
where are you having your operation?

my mom had hers when I was 13 yrs old...she had to have it done, or die....she was slow and sluggish in the beginning...it took her about 6 weeks to completely recuperate...that was the old procedure (which I believe is what they're doing to you)....I did all the housework for my mom while she was recuperating...of course, she came behind me and finished it, cuz a mom's idea of clean and a 13 yr old'd idea of clean are TOTALLY different...LMAO...but, I'm here for you and I love you....so, don't hesitate to ask for help.... *hugs*
