It's All For You!

Sep 25, 2007 19:09

I thought I'd go extra fancy today and do an entire photoblog for my wonderful friends who read me. Today's adventure is: "A Small Tour of My Home," can ya dig it?

What's up, ya'll? I'm Ricky, and this is my totally rockin' house ;)

Thumbs up for being an awesome person! Cheers to you all!

Here I am lipsynching to Samantha Fox's "Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me)." There's an accompanying video if your curiosity is piqued.

Now I'm groovin' to Sam's "That Sensation." I recommend getting this random CD: Hot Tracks: The Best of Samantha Fox. It's like $5 at Wal-Mart, it's got a hot, sexy cover shot of Sam, and the music is sick! (Sick as in, totally awesome; like how the Brits say it). For real, if you see it, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

"That Sensation" was pouring out of me, like I was possessed by Samantha Fox's career in 1989. Powerful! LOL

Here I am beside our wonderful couch. I took this picture because I wanted to see what I would look like if I intentionally raised my eyebrows all the time, so as not to look "frumpy." I decided I look way too over zealous LOL

Here I am intentionally having wide eyes. I'm kind of self-conscious about my dead eye, so if I open my eyes intentionally, will it look "normal" since one eye is already dead and slanty anyway? The answer is ... no... ;)

"Yay! A lamp!"

I've had this quilt since 1992 and it was made for me! We were on a job in Rangely, Colorado, and I would love when I'd get to hang out with my Grandma Pat's friend Janet. We all called her "Ja-Net", as if her name was spelled Jeanette... and I never got that, but she rolled with it, so who knows.

Anyway, she was a lively lady, and I'd love to go spend time with her when her husband and my dad were at work. We'd eat delicious caramel chocoalate cookies and talk about "All My Children." She was the shit! She bought my first ever troll doll, but that's another story for another time.

So she took me to Wal-Mart one day to pick out the colors for this quilt she was going to make me. I don't know what drew me to these three colors, but that's what I went with and she got them.

We'd go to the bowling alley just to chill, and she'd be in there sewing the quilt. The colors came together surprisingly well, and everyone gagged about how awesome it was!

When she was finished with it and I got it, it totally rocked out. It's so soft, even to this day, and the colors still pop and mesh wonderfully. It's one of the things I treasure the most in my life, material wise. Someone put that much time, effort and love into this thing that warms me when I'm cold, and I treasure it.

Good times, good times. LOL

"Eeew! I'm scared of the Ouija!"

"Let's go on a picnic!"

Molly, activating his laser eye.

[baby-voice] "Look at the camera, cutie patootie!" - me, having a Tammy Faye moment (RIP TAMMY! YOU RULED!)

Two things you'll always be able to find at my house: A Virgin Mary candle and Hot Tracks: The Best of Samantha Fox. (Available at Wal-Mart for like $5. )

"Yay! She-Ra, lube and Hilary Duff's hot album rock my socks!"

Who should show up, but Lady La La and Victoria Beckham's head on Geri Halliwell's arm!

Look at my awesome bed! Do you love it? You should be in physical agony from not being able to sleep in this heavenon-earth-feeling bed!

"Oui, oui! Here I am in my bed!"

"On my ceiling is David Beckham! Yeah, yeah."

"On my left is Madonna hitch-hiking naked in heels, smoking a cigarette and carrying a handbag. Can ya dig it?"

"Hey, it's Kylie when she still had horse teeth! (Thanks Deannii!)"

Now - for some outtakes!

On the first shot, I accidentally only shot Sam from the eyes up, and let's all agree that the cover is too hot to not have the whole thing!

When I saw this, I thought the caption would be: "When I'm in strife, I pray to the Virgin Mary, and Sam Fox's career, circa 1989."

On an unrelated note, when Natasha was here recently, and we got a few bottles of Boone's Farm. Well, once we left La La's, we came home and she put an unopened bottle of it in the freezer. After eating chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese (I think we ate that... we either ate it then, or the next day at lunch... one or the other... lol Who knows), we passed out, of course.

Well, the next day, we opened the freezer and were horrified by what we saw!

MURDER!

IN THE!

FREEZER!

AAAAHHHHHH!

The End.

Oh yeah! I forgot to ask: Do you like my highlights? Suki, suki, nookas!
