Well, I've gone and injured my knee. It was bound to happen one day...years ago I injured my knees roller skating (fell right on them). They said my knees may one day need surgery or at the least be problematic for me. Well, sitting Indian-style on the floor at a friend's house, I managed to tear an internal ligament or my doctor's leaning

Oh, damn.

I just found out yesterday that the pain I've been having in my knee for over a year is likely a meniscal tear. The doctor is setting up an MRI & orthopedic consult for me... but she already said I'm likely to need surgery. And I can't take a break from my job. After I found that out, I spend 6 hours last night putting out freight at Big Lots, lifting 30-40 pound boxes before limping home to suck down aspirin like candy.

Stupid fucking Army.

You have my complete sympathy... empathy even... dammit, this shit hurts!

For real...the pain sucks...and it just won't go away! I can't beleive you've been dealing with it for a year....A month and a half has been more than enough for me, thank you! Luck to both of us

Thanks for the sentiments. I hope it won't come to that but I've been off my leg and it's still bothering me...though not as bad...I'm not sure what will happen
