Ok, yesterday, my department found out that our director is leaving the company due to health reasons...we knew it was a possibility but never actually thought it would happen. It ended up impacting me a lot more than I thought emotionally. I never much cared for her as a manager (although she's a heck of a lot better than most) but she's a great ( Read more... )

YAY you are alive...and alive. I hate that you have crazy reactions to your allergy meds (makes me nervous for Chris)

Weird that Alex is Puerto Rican and can't make rice.. btw..does that have any meat in it? Since I am veggie now I am looking for lots of different low fat recipes.

Yeah, the shots thing was kinda scary...I think they're going to re-evaluate my dosage because that was super not the norm for me. I'm sure Chris will be fine, they usually start you low and monitor each week.

I will post pics as soon as I get the time to take them from teh camera to the computer...tee hee

Yeah, the rice isn't really hard to make either so I don't know why he hasn't learned how to make it. The only meat it has is bacon and that actually the first thing you put in it to flavor the rice...I'm not sure it would be as good without it...but you could try. I will send you ingredients and you and experiment.

You go, veggie girl! Get down with your weight losing self! I am apparently stuck and holding at 219...remarkably better than the wopping 233 I was at months ago. It may only be 14 lbs less but I'll take it!

I know...wow...I guess it's a life lesson for me to learn to truly take things a day at a time or I'd go nuts...I have my days but...tomorrow is another day. I hope things are going well for you and the Rene...they sure seem like they are from her post...tee, hee. Aaron and I are doing well too...he's been sending me silly messages today and it's just nice to have someone to cut up with on that level...*sighs*

I am guessing that the stereo may need an FM antenna connected. That can be one of those copper wire bundles or one of those 'butterfly' antennas, which are also sometimes used for UHF reception on TVs.
