Marlene,

Look.

I'm sorry I pushed you. My mum taught me better than that, I swear she did, and I shouldn't have. Especially into that bookshelf. I hope your arm is okay.

But really, Marlene, that's not fair at all. Yours? I'm yours? I'm NOT, Marlene. FABIAN belongs to you. NOT ME. So, please, really, DON'T SAY THINGS YOU DON'T MEAN.

I can't tell you how much I HATE THAT.

Just watch what you say. You have no idea how fucked over it is to hear you say stuff like that.

Marlene,

Restricted Section was lovely. You're lovely, really, but I think I'll keep that to myself. It was nice holding your hand. We should do it again sometime.

The Restricted Section, I mean. Hand holding too, though, now that I think about it. Maybe more. We'll see.

Meant it though, when I said you were brave. You really are. Don't you know? Sorting Hat did. Have a little faith, Marlene.

*takes a deep breath and start to crumple it, but then decides against it and puts it safely in her Runes book, then grabs another*
