WHERE ARE MY LISTS

I was totally impetuous (by Virgo standards) and am now going to Tokyo at the end of March!

I'm super excited to visit Minako-chan, eat some good food, see the flowers... and be in Japan sometime other than the Frozen Winter. :)

To prep, I'm tripling up on Japanese language software. Here are some thoughts!

This posts makes me feel slightly less embarrassed that I struggled to tell a group of Berliners the story of my father helping an old woman with her groceries, BUT I had no problem understanding the German-Only tour at the Kaiserpfalz. My Minor in German = I can't tell you where the bathroom is, but I sure can tell you how to invade another country!

Anyway, SO EXCITE FOR YOUR TRIP. ♥ I'm sure you and Minako-san will have an absolute blast! EAT LOTS OF POPCORN AT TOKYO DISNEY AND PLEASE GO ON THE PETER PAN RIDE FOR ME. :D But watch out for bears!!

"mijikai" means short. (Make your own BL manga joke here.)
There are now so many layers happening here because -I- learned that mijikai means short from Shingo and Tsuyoshi's duet. And, well, we know my feelings on that.

Okay, LONG COMMENT IS LONG. THE BOY IS IN THE BATHROOM!

*a warning... Tokyo can still be quite cold late-March/early-April, think Colorado temperatures, just not such extreme lows ( ... )

You don't have to know the level 1 kanji or how many there are, silly! I wouldn't have figured that something you should know (heck, I don't know and I've even taken some of the JLPT exams (passed 3, not 2).

Though I miss Japan a lot. Not Tokyo, but my friends and being up north. I look forward to hearing all about it!

There are some AMAZINGLY good deals on travel to Japan for travel RIGHT NOW, which is inconvenient for me, but I hope you have a good time. We're planning to hit summer Comiket this year, so we'll be looking to head out in August. And yeah, I wish they had more "practical" exercises in the DS J Coach, but considering the cost it's not bad. Definitely decent for just doing repetitive vocabulary exercises.

The cheap fares were what lured me in :3 Good luck in August... you'll probably be fine since you favor shorts anyway ;) We'll make you say "hi" to everyone for us!
