so, after much shenanigans, i finally have a new job. and lo and behold, it is a job i actually want, pays nearly 2x what i made at hotmovies, and nearly 3x what i am making now. i will be editing video, making dvds, learning new skills, and meeting fun people - using my degree. i am the multimedia coordinator for ubc, a company that makes ( Read more... )

heh. seriously, my first thought was, alright now i can pay off my credit cards... BUUUUT my second thought was, next time i go to brooklyn, i am taking scott and caitlin out somewhere.

anyway, my only advice is just to plug away and search regularly. i sent out approx 60 resumes, and aside from agencies/recruiters. this job was the only job that even called me back. hang in there.
