I totally read it that YOU were doing it and was trying to find a polite way to say "WHAT? ARE YOU AN IDIOT?!"

But yeah, if Ang does it it should be fine. Was Jacob early? Maybe take it easy that day.

last night when we were talking about it with friends, and they were trying to get her to do it with them, she ACTUALLY looked at me and said "it looks like fun, do you want to do it?" and realized immediately what she said. she was so embarrassed.

jacob was one day late. my contractions started on my due date. i think it should be fine. i'll wait at the finish line with my brother-in-law, and another one of our friends, so if anything happened, one of them could drive me and the other could stay behind to tell everyone.

Good idea. Take a chair. Keep hydrated and your feets up. :) You'll be fine.

I giggled about my mis-read hours later. I just pictured a pregnant lady waddling through that course and LOLed.

Yes, it should be fine. =)

Although why anyone would want to do that, I'll never know.

it looks like fun for me to watch, but i'm so grateful that i'm pregnant and will be ready to pop at that point, so i didn't have to find a good way to say no.

I'd go and cheer her on. We moved an hour and a half away 8 days before my due date with an infant seat and birth center bag in our giant rental truck just in case. I didn't have a toddler, so that might be a different story, but I wouldn't be worried at the least.

i can't wait, and i think it will be fun to watch! i'm not too worried, but i wanted to make sure i wasn't being reckless. :)

i'll make sure i have the car seat in and a bag packed, but i think it will be a non-issue.

It will be especially a non-issue if you are prepared for it to be an issue. Murphy's law and all that. ;)

i can't believe you moved that close to your due date. i would have been a nervous wreck.

I think it will be awesome. Also she is crazy. But if you're super worried, have someone with you that day just in case.

my brother-in-law will be at the finish line with me, since ang's sister is doing it too. and we have several friends doing it, so there will be plenty of people around to tell everyone what happened if one of them has to leave with me. :)

it looks like a lot of fun - for me to watch.

there you go! Sounds like a good plan.

We should meet up sometime before you are too busy with the new baby. Maybe over a school vacation or something we can make it work. If you want, that is!

that could be fun! honestly though - once the baby gets here, things might actually be slower, because they will HAVE to be. i tend to go-go-go until i physically can't.

when are your school vacations?

She's running through mud and jumping over fire? That's awesome!

I vote fine too.

i can't wait to see her do it. it's a long course, so i'll mostly be waiting at the finish line and walking around, chasing after entertaining jacob.
