Today we launched the last shuttle. So ends the American government's official sending of men into space. Despite all the talk about sending men to the Moon once more, and to Mars, we all know that it's bullshit. Looks like you and I had a somewhat similar day.

I do believe American's will go to space again, however. But it'll take another nation - China, I think, embarrassing us to do it.

I also don't think that the government will ban private vendors, but I'm not so sure how much they'll do to encourage it...until it becomes evident that other countries have passed us by there as well.

The both of us will be lucky to see the Moon again - again, probably via China. I don't think we'll see Mars.
