Right on! I'm stoked that you're back in home shopping mode. I really hope that you find a home that you'll love and love personalizing! :)

I highly suggest that you look into getting pre-qualified for your mortgage. It certainly helps when searching for a home.

Congratulations!

I have a mortgage company that I would highly recommend as well. ;)

My mortgage broker was excellent - he's very personable, and extended a personal touch in my experience. He broke everything down, and was very helpful.

Either way, congratulations!

Thank you, I will let you know. I'm going to get in touch with a realtor I was referred to some time this week... so she may have some recommendations for me as well.

I'd found a perfect house, but those darn train tracks. :-(

i was raised in a house next to train tracks... it's really not that bad. Well, it can be bad, but once you get used to it and you can sleep through everything.

I'm such a light sleeper though, the house I'm living in now is near the train tracks, and you're right I've gotten used to that... but these tracks are basically in the backyard! :-|
