I thought it was done, and I'd be moving in last weekend (should have been almost a month ago). I don't even know where to start, but I'm completely stressed that I can't even begin to tell the story of this home buying saga. I'm trying to set up an appointment to meet with a lawyer today. My realtor informed me that I *should* be officially getting the keys to my new house next Monday at 3:30PM the latest. Then it will take 2 or 3 days to complete the painting after which I can finally move in. This has been a very frustrating experience for me, but at least its nearly over and I can enjoy being a home owner!

They lost the venue for the Realize show tonight in Seattle, supposedly are looking for or have found an alternative venue in the city. I haven't heard back from the promoters all week, and there is a chance of snow for the Seattle area tomorrow ( Read more... )

They accepted my offer on the home and are signing the papers at 5:30 tonight. I need to go home and finalize my loan, setup a full home inspection for next week, and get a closing date set.

I'm excited, but there is still much to do. I hope inspections go okay!
