We had to put down our dog on sunday.  It's odd we were never really dog people but she just became a fixture in the schwartz family never properly trained so always tethered to a leash or on the screened in porch or even the kitchen next to the heater.

Sorry to hear she's gone. She was a good dog from when I saw her- very friendly.
