Get a job....

Remember the old Coasters song, "Get a Job"? Well, I got one, at last! It's seasonal and the pay is low, but it's hopefully gonna be full-time. Inbound sales calls, for products I can support: catalog sales which began with Northwest pears but over the years have expanded to include a broad range of goodies. Well, if that isn't good news. :)

Employments for inbound calls are rare to get here, especially when you haven't gone through the horibble time of outbound sales calls (which I haven't, the whole lottery selling business rubs me the wrong way).
I hope everything goes well at work for you.

Thank you! Nice to hear from you. Been writing? I've been away for months so there's no hope of actually reading all the fics I've missed... any top recs?

Holy cow, took a quick look at your LJ and... Bleach has surpassed Rurouni Kenshin for you? I'm gonna have to go back and view some more episodes now!

It might be because Bleach has a very refreshing humour, but turned out to get more serious after a while, too. Of course it still has the addicting charm of the new, which shouldn't be underestimated. ;-) But the characters are just great, males and females alike, and everything has such a nice, modern touch, that is later balanced out by Soul Society's old traditional looks.

I think I need to refresh my memory of RK by rewatching it, it's been a year already since Sanosuke lured me into the anime fandom! In the long run both fandoms might rank equally strong in my heart; they are both excellent in their own way. It's like with love - you don't love two persons the same way, either.

Funny enough, I've been rather absent myself in the past months, working in a lab for a scientific homework (department for molecular genetics, intestinal flora in inflammatory bowel diseases like Morbus Crohn). So I wasn't as thorough in following fics as I would have liked to, and regrettably wasn't writing drabbles, either. But I know that louiseluxasked ... )
