Lyta Bastali

Revised Fighting Style Movelist Thing, for what I understand is MvC3 styled? If not, generic fighting game probably works.

Character Weight Class: Light, fast.

Note: As far as Aarn stats go, assume she's max level with all 12 channeling points.

Costume Colors:

Note: Despite Lyta's coloring, her channeling/energy effects always retain their purple

coloring. This is also subject to be revised (particularly the clothes)

Normal: Bright red skintone, white belly and face, green hair with flecks of red, white
top and pants.

2P: Blueish green skintone, lighter belly and face, green hair with flecks of bluish, black top and pants

3P: Yellowgreen skintone, lighter belly and face, green hair with flecks of yellowgreen, white top and pants.

4P: Dark red skintone, lighter red belly and face, reddish hair with flecks of darker red, white top and pants.

5p (Special Unlock, "Metal" Lyta): Dark, dark green skintone with a lighter belly, face is covered with red KISS-like makeup, black pants and top, darker green-to-almost-black hair.

All animation descriptions assume Lyta's facing the right. Although with 3D models these days, that doesn't really make as much a difference anymore...

Entrance:

A *bamf* of smoke and purple fire, Lyta appears and backflips into her fighting stance.

Intro vocals:
(Subject to be added to): These are random, except versus herself, which is always the

mirror-match one.
"I wonder how much money you've got on you..."
"Heh, this'll be fun..."
Mirror Match: "Posing as me? Oh c'mon, be original!"

Taunt:

Lyta spins in place and generates two fireballs, dispelling them and taking her fighting
stance.

Advanced Mobility-

Dash:
Lyta dives forward, I'm not really sure how to describe it better. To dash backwards, she backflips.

Air Dash:
Lyta cannot Air Dash, this is listed to make this reusable for other characters who can.

Jump:
Lyta leaps, doing a flip in the air at the apex of her jump

Super Jump:
Lyta leaps, spinning into the air, because everything's better with spinning!

Defense-

Blocking:
Lyta holds her left arm close to her body and generates a semi-transparent purple energy

shield out of heat energy.

Pushback:
She gestures sharply with her left arm, forcing flames out of her shield to knock an opponent back. This does incredibly minor damage at melee range (ie: one pixel's worth out of a health bar, it can kill an opponent, but it's unlikely to do so aside from luck)

Standard Attacks-
Lyta's attacks are designed to be fast and weak, and should be relatively easy to chain together. She's supposed to be able to combo an opponent down, not take off huge chunks of their health bar at once (that's more Anna's forte).

Standing Combo-

Standing Weak:
A quick strike with her left arm

Standing Strong:
A right knee jab into an opponent's stomach-area (close to the center of a 'standard' character's hitbox)

Standing Fierce:
A palm strike with her right hand, unleashing a fire-burst into them to end the combo

Crouching Combo-

Crouching Weak:
A quick forward jab with her left hand.

Crouching Strong:
A sweeping kick to knock an opponent on their ass.

Crouching Fierce:
She swings her left hand in a wide arc, striking the opponent with a heat whip. This will hit targets above her, as well as in front of her. This will knock an opponent *out* of the air if they're caught by the above-her-head arc.

Launcher:
Lyta gestures sharply up with her right hand, and a burst of purple flame from the ground shoots an opponent into the air. While on fire.

Air Combo-

Air Weak:
Lyta spins in the air horizontally to quickly kick an opponent

Air Strong:
She jabs her elbow into the opponent

Air Fierce:
Another heat-whip strike, with dual spinning whips that catch an opponent for about three hits (this also keeps her in the air longer for each successful strike, she doesn't GAIN height, but she doesn't lose it either).

Throws-

Forward: Lyta bursts the opponent out of her hands with a fireburst.

Backward: She swings them around to throw in the opposite direction she's facing.

Command Moves:

Shotgun Flame - Spreading projectile attack. Lyta sweeps her forward (left, if she's
facing right) hand, and fires off a burst of flame that covers a wider area the further it gets away from her. Closer range does more damage, and can combo an opponent into the spreader effect.

Shotgun Flame can be done in the air, although it's fired in a downward arc, instead of a forward one.

BOOSH! - Lyta quickly turns towards the screen and thrusts her arms out, unleashing a cloud of yellow spores that stun an opponent. If Lyta is struck before she reassumes her fighting stance, she is affected by this attack. In a mirror match--or versus Altalita--Lyta is not immune to this attack from herself or Altalita. Additionally, if Lyta strikes the spore cloud with flames, it will explode without damaging her. If another fire attack hits it, it will explode and damage both characters if they're in range. The "Dizzy" effect this leaves the opponent in is roughly half the 'normal' dizzy effect. This can be done in the air, although hitting someone with it in the air only knocks them down. Incidentally, this attack does no damage unless the spores are set aflame, it simply stuns.

Characters with super armor (who can take one or two light hits before being stunned), are semi-immune to being booshed. They need to be pushed into their stunned animation
before they can be affected by it.

Boosh! Can be done in the air, but it doesn't 'suspend' Lyta while she does it, she simply continues to drop while doing the attack.

Fire Plume - A straight projectile attack, this is weaker, and faster than Shotgun flame, and only does a single hit by comparison. Lyta fires this from her right hand, rather than her left. It's a sharp, forward gesture of her right hand.

Fire Plume can be done in the air, and unlike Shotgun Flame, it's fired forward.

Slight of Hand - Requires melee range, Lyta thieves an item from the opponent. This does minor damage, and steals a healing item about half the time.

If Lyta is struck before she can use the item, she drops it, the opponent may then
attempt steal it for themselves. This only heals red health. If Lyta has no red
health to heal, this transfers to one of her partners instead, which is decided at random.

Once the item is dropped from Lyta being struck, it activates on contact, rather than an animation or having to hit a button to grab.

Slight of Hand cannot be done while jumping, and defending prevents Lyta from stealing an item.

Assist Attack:
Lyta lands into a crouch, gesturing sharply up with both hands to strike an opponent with a wave of fire. The wave starts from the ground in front of her, and rises.

Super Moves:

Ballistic Burst Dash - Level 1 super

Note: While the attack is called 'Ballistic Burst Dash', Lyta only *shouts* 'Ballistic
Burst'.

Lyta surrounds herself in semi-solidified flames and heat, and launches herself towards the opponent, trapping them for several hits as the ballistic projection lasts. This is semi-seeking, in that it'll go in an opponent's general direction (up if they're above her, forward if they're in front of her, favoring forward if they're jumping and some distance away). The attack ends with an explosive burst that knocks the opponent away from her. As far as general distance goes, it covers twice the length of a dash.

This can also be done in the air. Lyta is also invincible during this attack due to the sheer amount of fire surrounding her, although projectiles will slow her down momentarily.

Chaos Field - Level 1 Super

Lyta is surrounded by a field of utter, flaming chaos that can catch an opponent and draw them into it for several hits. This can be done in the air, and pauses Lyta's descent while the attack's active. This takes one super bar to perform, although the field eats projectiles while it's active.

Thief's Dance - Level 2 Super (Technically)

Note: This attack can be done with one super bar, but it only lasts half as long, and
doesn't heal Lyta's red health.

At full power, Lyta abuses her speed to strike at her opponent several times from different directions, stealing items from them all the while. At the end of the attack, she'll use any healing items she's found to recover a percentage of her red health (See 'slight of hand' for what happens when Lyta has no red health to recover).

Thief's Dance can be done in the air, but regardless of Lyta's location when the attack
starts, it ends with her on the ground.

Lyta is *not* invincible during this attack.
