While being resented by other girls for her attitude, Kinuka did have a few close friends. The other girls in the popular clique, Kaoru and Mai, where very close to Kinuka. The three always sat by each other in class, and constantly gossiped, bitched, and yapped about their daily predicaments and fellow classmates to each other. It was not until Kinuka suffered a slightly fatal accident, that their friendship began to falter… A few months before the program began, Kinuka had found herself and her friends going to a club, or bar of sorts. While there, Kinuka fraternized with several older men, lying about her age and drinking a fair few doses of alcoholic drinks. As such, Kinuka was raped later that night, by a man in his forties. Her friends where either too scared or drunk to do anything, thus, they left the man to damage Kinuko as they fled.
Kinuka was left distraught after the incident, but refused to speak of it to anyone. Not Kaoru, Mai, Suzuka, her parents. No one… A month before the program began; Kinuka found out she had fallen pregnant from the incident, yet once again refused to tell anyone of her problems. The entire predicament led Kinuka to feel a fair resentment to men, and also to those around her. She was still the same person, but at the same time, much more unstable.
Appearance:
In one word, Kinuka could be described as immaculate. She stands 5'4" tall, making her one of the slightly smaller girls in class. Her skin is her best feature, having a great texture, appearance and glow. It is the perfect shade of tan, and compliments her orange-crimson hair very well. She had brown eyes, which compliment her face’s features well. Kinuka wears her uniform neatly, with each item of clothing ironed and washed to perfection. Kinuka is also known to wear her skirt extremely high upon her waist, and wears leg warmers that reach just below her knees. Outside of school, Kinuka wears a lot of white, and lace. Never pants.
Personality:
Kinuka has a fairly deep personality; it’s contents having shifted to extremes after becoming a subject to rape. Many of her personality traits could easily be explained as both a strength OR a flaw...
Graceful: Kinuka is very graceful in both her movements and speech, her style often being described to be ‘comparable to that of an elegant swan’.
Calm: Kinuka is a vain, selfish girl, but almost always manages to retain her cool as she speaks with others. Even when such is not going her way. Despite this, she is, of course, a teenage girl, thus there are matters that do get to her.
Persistence: Seen as a fault by many, but not to Kinuka herself. She will always get what she wants, and will not stop until such happens.

Biased Hatred: Kinuka holds a deep resentment for most males, believing many of them to be sex-driven ogres. Many of Kinuka's items of clothing fall semi-under the category of 'lolita fashion', albeit, she dresses quite a bit more conservatively. Family:
Father - Masaru Asano. A wealthy man, who works in a mainstream bank. He seems to be fairly apathetic towards both his daughter and his wife. Thus, Kinuka and her mother's relationship with him mostly consists of single-word conversations, and sometimes less than that. His lack of time at home has lead Kinuka to feeling a fair stash of resentment towards men [the rape only expanded upon that], and people in general. Sending her to a boarding school didn't really assist his cause.
Mother - Mae Asano. Works as one of the head-nurses at a hospital. She is a caring woman, however her relationship with her husband and daughter had been strained slightly due to her long hours at work. She married Masaru for love, but nowadays, she's merely holding on to their strained relationship for the money, and Kinuka.
Mae had previously assisted in the recovery of a previous winner of a Battle Royale.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
Kinuka practices the elegant dancing sport of Ballet, and was enrolled by her father at a young age. She is exceptional at it, and is considered one of the best in her year-level [And above!]. Ballet is one of her key reasons for acting and moving so poised, and graceful.

Kinuka is a large gossip, spreading rumors and speaking harshly of the other girls in her class behind their backs, to her friends. Academic wise, Kinuka sucks up to the teachers, and much of the time succeeds in her attempts. The only girls able to best her academically are those who are genuinely great at the work they do.

"Kinuka, is an excellent, well-mannered student. She consistently does well on each of her assignments, and her presentation regarding written work is second to none. However, her tendencies to socialize with her classmates may be holding her back quite a bit."
Classroom Clique:
Kinuka is a member of the class' 'Bitch Clique', containing Kaoru, Mai and Suzuka. They are the only girls in the class Kinuka has any amount of respect for, and they appreciate her arrogance and vanity, unlike the other girls. The group often take part in gossiping, bitching and pranking the other girls in the class, with many of them [Kinuka, at least] acting very flirty with the other guys.
A few months before the start of the program, Mai and Kaoru went out partying with Kinuka, which ended in Kinuka accidentally having one too many alcoholic drinks. Thus, she was taken advantage of by an older man, and eventually fell pregnant. That incidence made her feel very incecure about her ranking within the group, as she expected her friends would have made an effort to help her, but they didn't. She never told Kaoru, Mai or Suzuka about how she felt, and thus, they had no knowledge of any resentment towards any of them. Albeit, after that incident, things changed between Kinuka and the rest of the group, and especially the boys in the class. It was hard to spot, but someone who looked hard enough would be able to spot it.
Memorable Moments:
- Getting a role as a minor character in the school's 1st-year production. Proceeded to begin a rumor regarding the lead girl's [Tomoyo's] sexual preference.

Friends and Enemies:
Suzuka Otomo
Suzuka was relatively similar to Kinuka in demeanor, attitude and status in the class. Thus, this left the two girls fairly close, as they both seemed to look down upon their other classmates, and both where very reserved compared to Kaoru or Mai. Because of this, Kinuka considered Suzuka to be her best friend in the class, and while one can never be too sure what Suzuka's true feelings are, Kinuka truly believes that she thinks of herself as a friend, too. Suzuka is much more quiet than Kinuka, and doesn't seem to take part in any of the groups antics, yet still remains an essential member of the group, which was probably the main reason for her appeal to others.
Kaoru Ishibashi
Kinuka's relationship with Kaori is pretty much as it would be assumed. Kaoru is the de facto 'Queen Bee' of the clique, and Kinuko happily stands back and follows her and Mai wherever they may go. While not joining in on the more physical pranks, Kinuka is more than happy to sit back with Kaoru and bitch about each and every one of her classmates, teachers or otherwise. It was not until Kaoru and Mai 'ditched' Kinuka in her time of need at a nightclub, that Kinuka felt insecure about her standing in the clique. She had always thought they where happy with her and her arrogant attitude, but apparently not... Kinuka still remains friends with Kaoru, just acts slightly more quiet and reserved around her.
Mai Suzuki
Kinuka always found Mai amusing. Yes, the girl lacked a proper grace to her speech, and she was very stubborn and brash with her comments about, well, everything. And yet still, Mai managed to make such antics seem tasteful. Kinuka respected her for that, that she was so much like Kaoru, and yet at the same time, completely different. Kinuka's relationship with Mai was almost exactly the same as her and Kaoru's, as she rarely caught one or the other alone. Mai was also with Kaoru when the pair 'ditched' Kinuka at the nightclub to be taken advantage of, and since then Kinuka has harbored deep insecurities about whether Mai respects her, or not.
Seikou Ishida
Seikou is, well, kind of a geek. I mean, he's quiet, reserved and doesn't seem to care much for his appearance. These aspects of his personality alone put Kinuka right off him, completely. That was, until she stumbled across him practicing gymnastics. He was so graceful, and elegant. He would've made a perfect dance-partner for Kinuka, or perhaps even a lover.
Alas, such was impossible. Kinuka would look like an idiot if she came onto him, and when he wasn't doing gymnastics, well, he was like a completely different person. She did used to flirt with him in-front of Kaoru, Mai and Suzuka as a joke, though. It was all in good fun, watching how awkward it was for him.
Taichi Nawabe
One of Suzuka's close-ish friends. Kinuka personally doesn't have much interest in him, however that's not to say she can't maintain a full conversation with him. He dresses elegantly, in Kinuka's perspective, and as such is (to an extent) worthy of her time.
Despite this, Taichi seems to have some feelings or something for Mami (Eww...), thus, he seems to avoid Kinuka where possible due to the pair's hatred for each-other.
Hisa Aimono
Egh... The girl isn't fantastic to look at, nor the most well to-do girl in the class... Even if she was, the only times she was ever kind to Kinuka was when she was trying to get into Kaoru, Mai or Suzuka's good-books. In fact, Kinuka hadn't a clue as to why Hisa looked up to the other girls so much more than her. Regardless, the girl was a mole, plain and simple. A dirty mole that wanted nothing more than to become popular. Kinuka saw the way she treated the girls that where actually kind to her, she tossed them aside because they weren't cool enough. Such a shame, really, that she didn't have the flair to be in Kaoru's clique.
Mami Hanasaki
Kinuka and Mami's relationship had been rocky from the start. The pair had hardly ever spoken to each-other, however when rumors began to circulate the school regarding Mami's two deceased siblings, Kinuka seemed to be the culprit. Mami caught Kinuka gossiping [rather loudly] with her friends about Ichiro and Eri, and later confronted Kinuka in the hallways after school.
The fight began with a simple question asked by Mami, followed by an open insult thrown by Kinuka. When Mami found herself unaffected by Kinuka's snide remark, Kinuka revealed her true bitch, snapping at Mami, expressing some very cruel insults towards her. The fight ended just as Mami slapped Kinuka across the face, and the pair were interrupted by a teacher. They remained hateful towards each other ever since.
Ryuji Miyosaka
Kinuka and Ryuji, while not being great friends, do have enough of an interest towards each-other to hold a decent conversation. Ryuji is very easy to speak with, and Kinuka finds his sense of humor hilarious. He often tells Kinuka whether she's being a bitch or not, but she finds it easier to just ignore him, or pretend he's just joking with his comments.
Lily Ogawa
She's surprisingly easy to talk to. Albeit, her friendship with Taylor is rather 'eww'... Regardless, when Suzu, Mai or Kaoru are no-where to be seen, and neither is Taylor [Which is a rarity, mind you], Lily and Kinuka don't mind having a conversation with each other...
Kazuki Hoshikawa
Like most of the girls in the class, Kinuka and Kazuki get along well... The pair enjoy shopping together, bitching together, it's always quite a lot of fun. Of course, their friendship doesn't stretch far past the boundaries of any of his other friendships.
Miyuki Ishida
There's a small chance Kinuka and Miyuki would've gotten along well if they had've spoken with eachother, but alas, the pair never really spoke. Kinuka didn't feel the need to purchase or take drugs, and as such, didn't feel the need to talk to Miyuki. Kaoru's relationship with Miyuki was purely buisiness, so there wasn't any hope there, either.
Of course, there was always a lesbian rumor or two floating around about Miyuki. This was rare, though. Kinuka didn't want to upset Seikou, but it still happened from time to time.
Itsuo Tateno
Kinuka finds Itsuo hillarious. He's a geek, and as such hasn't a clue as to how to act around seductive, full-on girls. Kinuka flirts with him from time to time, just to see his embarrassed reaction, and to have Kaoru and the gang in fits of laughter. She also bitches about him, but not as much as the other students. He doesn't have as many interesting flaws as the others, in Kinuka's eyes...
Raiden Shindou
He has got to be the most introveted boy in class. Kinuka loves feeling powerful, which is why she is overcome with joy when he nearly faints after she randomly sits on his lap in class or whatever... The girls are always in hysterics.
Of course, Kinuka has no feeling for little Rai... No attraction whatsoever.
Tomoyo Gentoku
God, what a freak! She hangs out with the deranged girls, yet seems pretty normal herself... That's just not right, in Kinuka's perspective. The two girls used to be semi-friendly with eachother, that was of-course until Tomoyo got the lead role in the school's 1st Year production over Kinuka. Kinuka proceeded to tell the school of Tomoyo's lesbian fantasies, and well, from then on they weren't very comfortable with each other. Kinuka makes an effort to be extra bitchy towards her.
Terue and Terada
They sometimes refer to Kinuka as Poison Ivy due to her red hair and flirtatious nature. The girls are both fairly similar to eachother, in Kinuka's view, at least. And they both seem to belong in the loony bin.
Ichi Kiyoshi
Kinuka and Ichi have only talked a few times, and while those conversations have been okay, they've been a little forced. Kinuka doesn't tend to bitch about him much, mostly due to his appearance, but does so on occasion. Nothing really special with this guy.

Stuck-up piece of shit. He seemed to resent Kinuka even before she got bitchy towards him. Apparently it's because she doesn't deserve the grades she gets. Pah! What the hell would he know?!

Probably one of the guys in the class with the most respect for Kinuka. Suzuka likes him, so he can't be all bad. Plus, he's pretty cute. Not much else, though.

Kinuka always found Mai amusing. Yes, the girl lacked a proper grace to her speech, and she was very stubborn and brash with her comments about, well, everything. And yet still, Mai managed to make such antics seem tasteful. Kinuka respected her for that, that she was so much like Kaoru, and yet at the same time, completely different. Kinuka's relationship with Mai was almost exactly the same as her and Kaoru's, as she rarely caught one or the other alone. Mai was also with Kaoru when the pair 'ditched' Kinuka at the nightclub to be taken advantage of, and since then Kinuka has harbored deep insecurities about whether Mai respects her, or not.
Seikou Ishida
Seikou is, well, kind of a geek. I mean, he's quiet, reserved and doesn't seem to care much for his appearance. These aspects of his personality alone put Kinuka right off him, completely. That was, until she stumbled across him practicing gymnastics. He was so graceful, and elegant. He would've made a perfect dance-partner for Kinuka, or perhaps even a lover.
Alas, such was impossible. Kinuka would look like an idiot if she came onto him, and when he wasn't doing gymnastics, well, he was like a completely different person. She did used to flirt with him in-front of Kaoru, Mai and Suzuka as a joke, though. It was all in good fun, watching how awkward it was for him.
Taichi Nawabe
One of Suzuka's close-ish friends. Kinuka personally doesn't have much interest in him, however that's not to say she can't maintain a full conversation with him. He dresses elegantly, in Kinuka's perspective, and as such is (to an extent) worthy of her time.
Despite this, Taichi seems to have some feelings or something for Mami (Eww...), thus, he seems to avoid Kinuka where possible due to the pair's hatred for each-other.
Hisa Aimono
Egh... The girl isn't fantastic to look at, nor the most well to-do girl in the class... Even if she was, the only times she was ever kind to Kinuka was when she was trying to get into Kaoru, Mai or Suzuka's good-books. In fact, Kinuka hadn't a clue as to why Hisa looked up to the other girls so much more than her. Regardless, the girl was a mole, plain and simple. A dirty mole that wanted nothing more than to become popular. Kinuka saw the way she treated the girls that where actually kind to her, she tossed them aside because they weren't cool enough. Such a shame, really, that she didn't have the flair to be in Kaoru's clique.
Mami Hanasaki
Kinuka and Mami's relationship had been rocky from the start. The pair had hardly ever spoken to each-other, however when rumors began to circulate the school regarding Mami's two deceased siblings, Kinuka seemed to be the culprit. Mami caught Kinuka gossiping [rather loudly] with her friends about Ichiro and Eri, and later confronted Kinuka in the hallways after school.
The fight began with a simple question asked by Mami, followed by an open insult thrown by Kinuka. When Mami found herself unaffected by Kinuka's snide remark, Kinuka revealed her true bitch, snapping at Mami, expressing some very cruel insults towards her. The fight ended just as Mami slapped Kinuka across the face, and the pair were interrupted by a teacher. They remained hateful towards each other ever since.
Ryuji Miyosaka
Kinuka and Ryuji, while not being great friends, do have enough of an interest towards each-other to hold a decent conversation. Ryuji is very easy to speak with, and Kinuka finds his sense of humor hilarious. He often tells Kinuka whether she's being a bitch or not, but she finds it easier to just ignore him, or pretend he's just joking with his comments.
Lily Ogawa
She's surprisingly easy to talk to. Albeit, her friendship with Taylor is rather 'eww'... Regardless, when Suzu, Mai or Kaoru are no-where to be seen, and neither is Taylor [Which is a rarity, mind you], Lily and Kinuka don't mind having a conversation with each other...
Kazuki Hoshikawa
Like most of the girls in the class, Kinuka and Kazuki get along well... The pair enjoy shopping together, bitching together, it's always quite a lot of fun. Of course, their friendship doesn't stretch far past the boundaries of any of his other friendships.
Miyuki Ishida
There's a small chance Kinuka and Miyuki would've gotten along well if they had've spoken with eachother, but alas, the pair never really spoke. Kinuka didn't feel the need to purchase or take drugs, and as such, didn't feel the need to talk to Miyuki. Kaoru's relationship with Miyuki was purely buisiness, so there wasn't any hope there, either.
Of course, there was always a lesbian rumor or two floating around about Miyuki. This was rare, though. Kinuka didn't want to upset Seikou, but it still happened from time to time.
Itsuo Tateno
Kinuka finds Itsuo hillarious. He's a geek, and as such hasn't a clue as to how to act around seductive, full-on girls. Kinuka flirts with him from time to time, just to see his embarrassed reaction, and to have Kaoru and the gang in fits of laughter. She also bitches about him, but not as much as the other students. He doesn't have as many interesting flaws as the others, in Kinuka's eyes...
Raiden Shindou
He has got to be the most introveted boy in class. Kinuka loves feeling powerful, which is why she is overcome with joy when he nearly faints after she randomly sits on his lap in class or whatever... The girls are always in hysterics.
Of course, Kinuka has no feeling for little Rai... No attraction whatsoever.
Tomoyo Gentoku
God, what a freak! She hangs out with the deranged girls, yet seems pretty normal herself... That's just not right, in Kinuka's perspective. The two girls used to be semi-friendly with eachother, that was of-course until Tomoyo got the lead role in the school's 1st Year production over Kinuka. Kinuka proceeded to tell the school of Tomoyo's lesbian fantasies, and well, from then on they weren't very comfortable with each other. Kinuka makes an effort to be extra bitchy towards her.
Terue and Terada
They sometimes refer to Kinuka as Poison Ivy due to her red hair and flirtatious nature. The girls are both fairly similar to eachother, in Kinuka's view, at least. And they both seem to belong in the loony bin.
Ichi Kiyoshi
Kinuka and Ichi have only talked a few times, and while those conversations have been okay, they've been a little forced. Kinuka doesn't tend to bitch about him much, mostly due to his appearance, but does so on occasion. Nothing really special with this guy.
Yukio Ikonuma
Stuck-up piece of shit. He seemed to resent Kinuka even before she got bitchy towards him. Apparently it's because she doesn't deserve the grades she gets. Pah! What the hell would he know?!
Sosuke Kanasawa
Probably one of the guys in the class with the most respect for Kinuka. Suzuka likes him, so he can't be all bad. Plus, he's pretty cute. Not much else, though.
Iori Hida

Raul Montoya
Eww. Foreign trash like Taylor. Not even cultured or exotic or anything, just an ugly boy.
Wakana Asakura
Kinuka actually doesn't mind Wakana. She's a tad wierd, and not conventionally pretty, but she's just nice. Always laid-back and friendly. Kinuka finds it hard to get bitchy around her, and the two have had a fair few nice conversations. Despite this, Kinuka's clique and social standing prevent the pair from being anything more than silent acquaintances.
Yoko Shimzuki
Sporty bitch. Nothing much more than insults thrown back and forth at times.
