OH MY GOD. My friends and I were moaning just last night about how much we missed your writing and how we wished you'd give us something new.

I definitely remembered the first part of this because I recently went through and read all your fics again, so it's nice to see this get wrapped up. It's deliciously painful in all the right places. Thank you for making my day!

I was so pleased to hear from you! And I'm delighted that you liked this one, and that you reread everything. That makes me so happy.

I am going to continue to very occasionally post WK fics - at least, I intend to. I have vowed to myself that I will at least finish the damned Joking prequel.

Oh, god in heaven, thank you! AxY is my drug of choice, and I'm in awe of how perfectly you write these beautifully damaged characters...the dialogue slays me.

*flails* Oh man, I was hurting for Yoji in this part. His hopes kept getting dashed and I just wanted to hug him. And then finally, Aya did. *grins like an idiot*

I've always loved your dialogue. ♥ Seems like Yoji's voice is the reader's and Aya is sometimes unreachable, inscrutable and maddeningly desirable. *imagines Yoji and Aya having passionate, loud sex by the fireplace and shocking the hell out of Ken and Omi and not caring*

It's raining here today, I'm supposed to be working on my Aya cosplay for Yaoi Con but now I want to go back and re-read your fics! *flails some more*

I was so pleased to hear from you, and that you liked the story. And the dialogue. It's obviously my favorite thing, dialogue. Dialogue and character development, yes! Plot - yeah, whatever.

And yes, that sex scene is a fine idea. I'll take a few moments and think about that, as well.

This was fucking amazing, you know that? Pompatus of Love! Sisters of Mercy! Moping Yohji! Gruff but finally relenting Aya! Hurt! Comfort! Poker metaphors! Icy cold walk under the sky! *happy, happy sigh*

I loved this so much. The ending fits it so well. The way Aya ends up going after Yohji, walking too far in the cold, I could picture it so clearly. Lovely, lovely stuff.

Every December I reread old favorite WK and GW fics (my first beloved fandoms). I came here looking for You're Joking and found this! What a treat that you finished it.

Your characterizations of Aya and Yohji are always spot on. Thanks for the yummy fic; I'm off to read more!
