my family just opened gifts...yay!!! (we do our christmas the night before christmas eve every year because of our illinois trip)

i'll run down the gifts at another date, but three highlights include:

this righteous stain glass-esque louis armstrong jazz window decoration from my stepdad
ken burns' jazz 5-disc set that i've wanted
