Series your character's from: Magic Kaito

Background info on your character:

Go back twenty years before the story even takes place, a mysterious thief appears in France, no one knows of his true identity or even where he comes from, however he leaves behind a number that number being '1412' And thus! Kaitou 1412 is born! Because the thief is so mysterious his fans begin to think he's a phantom, always announcing what he intends to steal and never being caught! And so begins the worldwide tour of Kaitou 1412.

The same thief strikes in Japan and Inspector Nakamori Ginzo is put on the case, leading the investigation. During this time a young Mystery novelist by the name of Kudo Yuusaku takes interest in the thief and accidentally reads 1412 as 'Kid' therefore starting the nickname 'Kaitou Kid' The thief adopts this name cheerfully and starts a rivalry with the novelist while Nakamori still tries and fails to catch the mysterious thief, offering no real threat to him.

Skip ahead ahead two-three years and Ginzo becomes the father of a beautiful baby girl whom he names after her birthstone, Aoko, spelt with the characters for 'blue child.' And he continues to chase Kid as it is his job. It's not known what Aoko's mother was/is like Gosho was so nice in not saying anything about her, however, due to a line in the series 'Hellooo, didn't you name me, Aoko, after Sapphire's blue?' forced me, personally, to believe that her mother died in childbirth.

Jumping to the time Aoko is six she meets a very important person in her life and could never quite be the Aoko she is now without him. While standing on the steps a of clock tower waiting for her father to pick her up, a little boy in a light blue sweater wanders up to her, possibly he was entranced by cuteness, or maybe she looked so sad standing all by her lonesome, it really doesn't matter because the fact is that he approached her, asking her what she was doing. Aoko explains in a very solemn voice that she is waiting for her father, and that he might not come because he's very busy, catching kid is a very time consuming thing you know, plus there's always paper work.

The little boy gives her a confused look for a minute and holds out his hand so a rose appears before her, the little girl's cheeks tint a light shade of pink as he introduces himself as Kuroba Kaito.

Kuroba? That name sounds familiar! And it is! Kaito is the son of the famous magician Kuroba Toichi and has been learning all sorts of tricks from his father. Now having a friend to play with a hang around Aoko quickly becomes accustomed to seeing magic tricks, loving the thrill of being deceived.

A few years later there is a horrible accident and Kaito loses his father to an awful explosion. But things aren't too hard for the young magician, after all, he still has Aoko, though his world is on shaky ground he still has his best friend and life can go on, it's a just a little slow.

And so marks the mysterious disappearance of that notorious criminal, that elusive thief, Kaitou Kid. No one knows what happened to him or where he is and for eight long years not one thing is heard about the thief.

Meanwhile, Kaito and Aoko remain inseparable and pretty devious about teasing each other, Kaito develops the habit of looking up and flipping her skirt whenever he so feels the need, to this she responds with chasing him around the class with a mop, which the teacher just tries to teach around, asking both participants questions which both students can answer without difficulty.

And here is where the manga takes place.

While Aoko is in her second year of high school Kaitou Kid strikes again! And once again, Nakamori Ginzo is on the case! Leaving his now sixteen-year-old daughter home alone most of the time. But she's okay, she still has Kaito! And Kaito will continue to dominate most of her time until that fateful day where she states that Kaitou Kid's magic is better then his. Kaito takes this as a challenge and goes to try and catch the thief.

All the while, Aoko is fed up with Kaito's flipping her skirt and goes to learn his weakness from his mother who agrees! Not having a given name in the series, Mrs. Kuroba tells Aoko that Kaito is deathly afraid of fish, Aoko goes home to prepare for school the next day while Kaito is off learning his family secret. Kuroba Toichi was the original Kaitou Kid! But unfortunately for him the confession tape is all tangled up and outdated, so he goes to meet the modern thief and learns everything from him instead.

The next day Aoko goes to school and finds Kaito sitting at his desk, she slides over to him with a very mischievous look on her face as she approaches him. Kaito, unaware what's about to happen, is holding the jewel the Kid stole the night before, good thing Aoko's too focused on revenge.

She pulls the fish out and Kaito freaks, throwing the jewel up so it falls in the dead fishes mouth, later Nakamori will discover it and so it now looks like Kaitou Kid returns what he steals, which the original did, so this pattern continues.

Society is an uproar about Kaitou Kid, just as it once was, the thief happily takes up the front page of the news paper and fanclubs are formed, it seems every girl in Japan is quite smitten with him, all except one girl.

Nakamori Aoko despises the thief because she knows stealing things is wrong, even if you do give them back. Kaito's opinion on the thief quickly changes and it seems even he's become a fan of Kid, Aoko is disappointed in him, preaching about how Kid has bad habits whenever offered the chance.

At breakfast one morning Ginzo mentions he thinks that maybe Kaito is Kid, Aoko quickly denies this and tells him Kaito can't possibly be Kid because she was going to go on a date with Kaito on the date scheduled in the notice. She makes Kaito agree to taking her on that date and tries her hardest to as nice as possible and treat it exactly how she thinks a date should go, Kaito is unimpressed and his attitude towards everything quickly causes her to snap and her temper to flare, which Kaito actually likes. The date, after this point is enjoyable for them both up until it reaches the time Kid has his heist. Aoko takes him to a 3D movie and handcuffs him to herself, but Kaito has a fake arm and quickly gets away, replacing himself with a blow-up doll.

Aoko and the dummy watch the movie and she thinks nothing of the lack of input or noise from Kaito. Just as the movie finishes Kaito makes it back! Aoko is assured of his innocence and cheerfully goes to get him ice cream as a reward for not being Kid.

On Valentines day Ekoda High school gets a new student, she's beautiful and cute and all the boys are drooling over her, and her heart is set on Kaito, Aoko doesn't know this until she goes on a class ski trip, during which the teacher requires they all enter a skiing contest and girls MUST pair with boys. Aoko wants to pair with Kaito, but she can't ski and thinks they'd lose for sure if she was his partner, and she wants to see him look cool.

Akako asks her if she likes Kaito and Aoko quickly says she doesn't, the darker haired girl admits that she does and offers to be rivals with Aoko. Which, was probably a waste of time as Aoko decides then that she should let Akako pair with Kaito and she herself asks another boy, someone equally as bad at skiing to pair with her. Kaito does not approve and finds a way to pair with Aoko, as he does not want to be paired with Akako.

Akako, who's actually a witch who practices dark magic, does not like Aoko and sees her as a common girl that is only in her way. Aoko is oblivious to this and thinks that they're friends.

Sometime after they return to Ekoda rumor starts of a ghost haunting the school, Aoko is intrigued. Her other best friend, Moimo Keiko, claims to have seen it and takes the day off from school she's been shocked so bad. Aoko decides she going to get revenge and make Kaito come too. They wander around the school for awhile and come across the new biology teacher who claims he forgot something, she is the same excuse Aoko offers for why she and Kaito are breaking into the school so late at night. After leaving the teacher, the two teens encounter some pretty threatening indicators that they should leave. Aoko is frightened and Kaito sees through the tricks, he runs up the stairs and trips, smacking his face on the stairs. Someone has spilled red ink on the floor and Aoko mistakes it for blood, thinking that Kaito is dying she quickly becomes upset as the ink is all over his face.

they got to a bathroom and Kaito cleans up. Aoko kicks him out as she needs to use the restroom, while she's busy Kaito is distracted by something and leaves to investigate. The girl steps out of the water closet and notices Kaito is not around. She sees eyes staring at her from some dark corner and lets out a loud scream... oh, it's only a cat. Considerbly less brave, Aoko calls the kitty over while Kaito sneaks up behind her, covering her mouth and telling her shh! Reasonably, this scares the poor girl and she doesn't want to be left alone again.

Kaito tells her he's going to look around some more but she doesn't want him too, he hands her a mop and tells her to yell if she needs him, as he doesn't want her in any form of danger. Aoko agrees and he leaves the room. Poor Aoko, the monster that's been haunting the school finds her. She screams, hits it with her mop and then throws the mop at it as it chases her to the bathroom where she locks herself in a stall, thinking she lost it. But no, it's above her head. She screams and passes out, not waking up again until Kaito is carrying her back home.

Shortly after that comes the introduction of a new character! Hakuba Saguru, an English detective comes to Japan to try and catch the infamous criminal who's fame and celebrity status grow with each passing day. Apparently Nakamori is not doing a good enough job of catching the thief. Hakuba transfers to Ekoda high and sets eyes on the inspector's daughter.

Aoko soon after enters a drawing for concert tickets to see 'Prince Prince' she's more then elated when she wins and goes to Kaito with this news, who is less then excited, Aoko had planned to ask him to go with her but he doesn't want too. Hakuba, however, offers to go with her and says that Kaito is not worthy of his time. Kaito becomes jealous and grumps about it, saying they're a match in a less then nice way. Aoko gets on to him, and Hakuba purposes a bet. If He can catch Kid that night then Aoko will go to the concert with him, if he should fail then Kaito can take her. Aoko is confused and still wants to go with Kaito, though she agrees to those terms.

Later that day Keiko tells her the girls in their class are starting to dislike her because they all like Hakuba, Aoko thinks it's silly because one date doesn't mean anything to her and the two girls go to the Nakamori house to watch the heist on TV. She's clearly bothered by what Kaito had said earlier and not paying close attention to the TV until the later parts of the heist.

The moment of truth arrives! Is it Hakuba or Kid that's victorious? Who does Aoko -really- want it to be? Before the smoke clears she very clearly thinks 'Kid.' Yes, even Aoko is rooting for that thief for this heist! The smoke settles and Hakuba emerges from it, announcing that Kid has been arrested! Aoko is actually upset, but then, what's this!? Kaitou Kid was only disguising himself as the British detective! Aoko and Keiko both cheer! Keiko seems to have heard that because she gives her friend a funny stare. Aoko? Glad for the thief's safety? Is that even possible!? Aoko shrugs it off and coughs stating Kid is a ham and does dangerous things. Keiko is not convinced! But regardless of that it seems Aoko will be going to the concert with Kaito!

But, wouldn't you know it, the object of that night's heist has been chained down and Kid's plans are foiled, victory goes to Nakamori Ginzo! And So Aoko will attend the concert with her father, she needs father-daughter bonding time anyway, seeing as he's always chasing after Kid.

Sometime after that, Aoko notices Kaito has developed a habit of sleeping in class, she confronts him about this and a very tired looking Hakuba Saguru enters the room, Kaito makes a comment about him staying up too late chasing Kid and the detective asks if he slept well. dun dun dun... Hakuba knows. Kaito says he slept fine and Aoko gives him a look, she knows he was just sleeping in class, but that's overlooked and Hakuba invites Kaito to the next Kid heist, Aoko says she wants to go to, to help catch Kid, and the detective agrees, he wants her to him catch Kid.

September hits and Kid schedules a heist on Aoko's birthday, poor girl her best friend and father won't be at her birthday. She tells Kaito at school that it's her birthday and he proceeds to poke her chest, flip her skirt, and poke her hips, as Aoko is lacking in this department. Kaito asks her if she's actually a male and she proceeds to beat him up.

He promises to make it to her birthday to entertain everyone with his magic after completing a job. Aoko quickly forgives him and allows this. However, fate has other plans and Kaito doesn't make it to her party on account of nearly being shot to death and finally finding the people who killed his father eight years ago. It's an organization looking to find a gem that glows red under the moonlight and cries tears to make the drinker immortal. Thus the search for Pandora begins. And Aoko is left alone, realizing, for perhaps the first time, she's lonely.

But! One phone call from Kaito and a few fireworks to light up the sky and her loneliness is forgotten. As if something like that would get Nakamori Aoko down.

Now seventeen, Aoko continues her life the way it was, yell at Kaito for that, call him stupid for this, root for her father, and disapprove of all thieves no matter what... except when a date with Kaito is involved.

Personality:

There are several things to be considered about Aoko's personality such as her extreme dislike for Kid, her love for Kaito, and her temper. Never. Forget the the Nakamori temper. It's a trait she's very clearly inherited from her father. That said, Aoko highly respects her father and doesn't like that Kaitou Kid teases him, she will gripe at anyone who says anything bad about her father.

Aoko is a fairly smart girl, not largely so as she has yet to put together the reason Kaito is always busy during Kid heists is because he is Kid, she blinded by her own belief in his innocence.

She's a very trusting girl which gets her into a tight spot on occasion, but nothing Kaito can't get her out of, seeing as she never realized the danger she was in, she couldn't get herself out of it. Along with trusting she's also naturally curious which is another reason she got herself into trouble.

She's very demanding of Kaito, which is how she got him to go on the date with her, and also how she got him to go with her to investigate the 'haunted' gym. To everyone else she's usually a very sweet girl. Kaito just knows how to push her buttons and doesn't hesitate to do so.

Aoko says in the manga that she won't forgive a person who enjoys making fun of others. It's known fact that Kaitou Kid loves to tease and taunt his task force and anyone trying to catch him, this is one of the main reasons Aoko does not like Kid, the other reason being that her father is the inspector in charge of catching him.

the talented little mop wielder also hopelessly in love with her best friend, go figure, she's been through so much for him and even though she's seen them a million times before she's always amazed and happy to see his magic tricks. He's one of the only people she really feels comfortable with, if Kaito's not there Aoko's not as brave or daring as she makes out to be. Should she lose him, she'd undoubtedly lose apart of herself.

Aoko does not tolerate people saying Kaito is Kid, that's a lie and she will defend this belief until the death. Not even Hakuba's DNA sample will convince her otherwise.

Throughout the series Aoko occasionally refers to herself in the third person, but she doesn't not do it all the time.

Sample post: (First person point of view, please)

I’m not so sure I’m comfortable with this M-Monkey-san… could you please not pull my hair, it kind of hurts and-Okay I’m sorry! Please don’t screech at me like that.

You won’t mind if Aoko stands up… right? My leg is falling asleep s-so I should walk on it a little and-Hey! Don’t pull on that! I need it for school! The dress code is very strict, you know.

…That doesn’t mean pull on my skirt instead! Let. GO! …stop screeching! I need my skirt! I’m not pulling on you! Aoko is tired of this!

Wagh! Oof… Monkey-san… it’s not very nice to jump on people while they’re walking away... Owww! Don’t pull Aoko’s hair! That hurts! I’m sorry!

Wha-Hey! Stop messing with my clothes! If they rip you’ll be-… I don’t have my sewing kit! How will I fix this!? -You have no right to yell at me! You tore my skirt!

…Don’t give me sad eyes! You’re a monkey! You shouldn’t even have a puppy dog face!

…Well... I guess you are kind of cute… and you do sort of remind me of a friend of mine…So Aoko will forgive you this once. The tear’s not that bad I guess, but you better not rip any more of my clothes! There the only ones I have right now!

…You know…that doesn’t mean you can shake my skirt like that…

Ne! I know, how about you come with Aoko to find some shelter? The company would definitely be nice, and you can help me!

A list of things your character might have on them after they got snatched up and put on this island:

-her clothes! (school uniform ftw!)
-maybe a phone that gets no service
