Hello! I know this place is dead and I'm years late to the party..
.. but I recently, finally, decided to read Joss Whedon's AXM run all the way through and I love this 'ship and actually wrote a little thing for them.
Actually, it's a correction of their brekaup in Uncanny X-men 544, after he becomes Colossonaut, because I read that and felt that they were really, really poorly handled there. I don't know if anyone still checks up on this place, if you care to see it or not, but here's a [Link] for you in case you care to read my attempt at fixing a bit of canon. It's rough, and I think I made Kitty a bit *too* girlish there at the end, but I think it works. I might try to write more for 'em.
