Last week, I started reading The Time Traveler's Wife, which Blerg lent to me. I have only just started it, but it has already sucked me in. I just hope that I have a good chunk left over for my flight back to NYC next weekend (I'm flying back for the weekend, for a wedding).

Get 'em while they're hot: New France pictures

I am the proud new owner of a 2GB, 133 Mhz compact flash card. It only cost me 13 Euros (about $21). This is comparison to the $190 or so that I spent for a 256 MB card in 2003. Dude, sweet.

I uploaded the LAST batch of photos, and it took a frikkin hour. I will do the rest later. (Yeah, I know ... that could be 2013. It won't be, I promise)

I haven't updated my blog in a while, so I better do it now. Last weekend, Derek went back to NYC. So I was all by my lonesome. I decided to visit Jim Morrison's grave, at Père Lachaise. I got "Le Big Mac". Derek got the "Royal with Cheese". The sign didn't say "avec fromage", it actually said, "with cheese". I have no idea how it compares with US-donalds, because I never eat there. It was nice to have a beer, though.
