Maybe the self-destructive characters of Rules appeals to youth because perhaps the characters are extreme opposites of themselves. I don't consider myself a troubled youth, but I am always fascinated by troubled characters because they are so unlike me and mostly because it's interesting to know the motivations behind their actions.

So Glitterati is based on Glamorama? If so, why the name change?

Perhaps everyone has their own reasons for being fascinated by people living on the edge. I think I'd go with yours, wanting to know the motives behind their actions and see whether they ever emerge from them any better (in this case, not).

The film will be called Glamorama. [I] confused the titles a little in my update. Glitterati is what we called the video montage of Victor’s trip to Europe in Rules. This is what happens when you update so late at night ;)

I think during our cheeseburger outing, we should also devote the day to doing "edgy" things, things we wouldn't ordinarily do. I wouldn't ordinarily smoke, for one thing.
