This made me more excited to watch the new Hana Kimi! I'll have to get around to that after I finish watching some other dramas I've been intending to watch forever, lol.

I was watching it with my friend who hated the first season and was a big fan of the Hana Kimi manga and the TW version and she said that she "doesn't hate it yet" so I think it may also be decent to those who didn't care for the first one either. I mean then again, I'm incredibly biased so I think I'd like any adaptation of Hana Kimi XDXD

I was never able to get into the TW version so I haven't watched all of it and I didn't finish the manga either. ^^; The J version was the first one I watched so maybe that's why I couldn't like any other version. XD

Well it's just like back when the first jHK came out.. many TWHK fans hated it. So it's bound to happen. I just hope that everyone can check it out at the very least :)

Maybe fans of only the j-version might find it less fun..? I'm not sure. But I rather like the new takes on the characters and plot XD

In any case, the only reason to check out Hana Kimi was curiosity. Nice to have your rundown as I know you're a big fan as any of us of the original. I may just wait until it all comes out so I can go through it swiftly and maybe less comparison.
Yes, good to know there is differences. I hope there are more of it.

Yeah it might be helpful for big fans of the first season to just watch it all at once to prevent comparison, although I do think that there's enough changes to try to steer away from that. I guess though just like how the first season was compared to the TW version, it's inevitable that this season will be compared to the first XD

Ah I wanted to watch Shige's drama but I was watching HK instead! I guess I'll have to flip back and forth during CMs!

I never saw the original for Ikemen desune either but I'll check it out anyways just because too XD
