Not Well

For the last while I have not been feeling too well. Chest pain that has persisted for months. Went to a series of doctors, who in turn prescribed a series of tests. The latest was "Nuclear Cardiac Stress Test" They stuck me with a Sling IV loaded with a radioactive tracer that took almost four hours to inject. Ouch! Been through the stress test and radioactive stuff myself... that's how they found out that I had a clogged up artery - before I had a massive heart attack. )=p

Gah... I remember having those awful IV lines when I had a bunch of MRIs. Hopefully they will find out what's wrong!

No offense to my American pals, but thank god I live in Canada, or I'd be in the poor house

Amen to that! I hear of so many American furs that are having health problems and can't afford to see a doctor! The Canadian health system isn't great, but it's certainly good enough.

Wow, and that's a lot of lemon concentrate. (At the same time, I'm always rather baffled when people are rude AND threaten to take their business elsewhere. The ruder someone is, the happier you'd think the store would be if they actually did it.)

Why the fuck would anyone need more than 12 bottles of lemon concentrate at 12:30 in the morning? I'm baffled.

I can't believe we're at the point where we're doing 3D scans of peoples' internal organs to make the most accurate diagnosis. Long live modern science, seriously.
