The above is in reference to the Vagina Monologues dinner last night at The Flying Biscuit.   Get your mind out of the fucking gutter.

Yesterday evening I accompanied Dominique to her internship interview.  She impressed the interviewer with articulate responses while I did my best to maintain flirtatious eye contact with a waitress.  Rather than give me her phone number, however, she just kept giving me water.

I spent all day Saturday in an abortion clinic watching movies on TBS.  Despite the lure of Turner Broadcasting Systems, I wasn’t there simply to watch some television, but rather to accompany someone to their “appointment.”  That term, however, is relative, because although the “appointment” was scheduled for 12:30pm, we didn’t leave the clinic ( Read more... )

Wednesday evening I was able to witness first-hand a beautiful relationship between two men.  It may be merely a friendship from their perspective, but the two of them share such a beautiful gentleness, which they express through lingering eye contact and personal smiles.  I love it.
