I'm so sorry about your uncle. I just lost my favorite uncle on Christmas day. They're having a big party out in California (where he lived) for his friends and family out there to give him a good "send off" instead of a funeral. He had lost everything he owned just six weeks prior to that in those terrible fires out there in the mountains. My sisters and I each wrote little remembrance story to be read at the party and I'm going to post mine tomorrow. I hope you'll read it and let me know if you think it'll be ok. I'll be praying for you to get through this...and don't feel like you let him down. I'm sure he treasured every moment with you and didn't expect any more from you than what you were abe to give. Be thankful that you were able to even go to see him at all. You'd be surprised how many people totally turn their backs on their loved ones out of fear--and that's not their fault, either. Everybody handles these things in their own way. It sounds like you did very well. Praise God. You have some good memories. Hang
