I worked 9 hours and 40 minutes today... roughly. I was physically exhausted when I went IN. As such, coming out I was afraid to sit down. And no, I did not make enough money to make it worthwhile. One manager is absent minded. The other? Oh, I am SO unhappy with him. I really intended to mention my frustration to him when I cashed out... but.... ( Read more... )

um, goodluck with the roommate sans job - hopefully a new job will happen before shit totally falls apart like my last living situation. oh, it was so uncomfortable and awful by the end - so encourage employment...even if it's a crappy job they aren't interested in. :P

No no. I can't suggest or prod or poke or help find anything. She'd slaughter me in a not nice way. She's already bitching moaning and griping about anyone else trying to help.

So I get to take the abuse and wait.

Abuse, btw, is an extreme term (realized that after I hit "post"). It is not, by any means, abuse.

oh it all just sounds so familiar! my roommate couldn't take suggestions either, unfortunately a year later she's still unemployed after only work part time part of the past year. and it may not be physical abuse, but I withstood what I would say is absolutely emotional abuse - so you just keep your chin up, and don't let her bully you or treat you like crap. and goooood luck. *hugs*
