I'm sorry to hear about this, because I know that this hurts you. *HUG*

However, I don't think there's anything you could have possibly done for her, no matter how much you'd have been there for her. Most people who succeed in committing suicide have already made up their minds and no amount of being there or talking them out of it can stop it from happening.

It really is terrible when something like this happens, and I am deeply sorry. *hug*

I often contemplated suicide when I was in junior high, but I had so many friends and family who cared about me that I was able to get help. Now, whenever I hear one of my friends is contemplating or even attempting suicide, I try to help or find help for them. I know what it's like to feel so miserable, and I don't want anyone I care about to feel like that.

I think we all have/do feel that way at time, but it's the fact that it takes a big person to ask for help, and too many people push or turn people away for asking, and I wish they didn't.
