Hello. I'm going to indulge in an incoherent, irrational diatribe spawned by panic.
I hate, hate, hate, hate my school's
technology requirements. They're thrown out there with little explanation and less coherence, designed by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Which is why I'm fairly convinced that two of my required links have insufficient info, and my meeting in ten minutes to determine the status of my student teaching application might get scuttled.
If I haven't scuttled it already - last night, I found a buried document that says my tech requirements were supposed to be filled yesterday.
Tech requirements. Stupid, idiotic, irrelevant requirements, asking me to do things the bureaucrats don't understand when the intent could be filled far more elegantly otherwise, with things I DO understand but the bureaucrats don't.
I HATE TECH REQUIREMENTS.
I may come back to edit this page, but I had to do something in the lag time between finishing what I COULD finish and the actual meeting.
There may be quiet sobs of despair here shortly; hints of perspective may be appreciated.
ETA: Tech requirements are all in order (as far as the school knows, anyway; I'm the only one who's clicked EVERY link and knows what needs polishing). And so now I can go back to merely resenting the fact that I am supposed to demonstrate technological literacy through technologically illiterate tools to fill requirements designed by technologically illiterate people. That is all.
