So I have been so busy with work. But something good actually happened there. Apparently I raised the most money for Prostate Cancer when we were doing that drive, and I got a certificate! Like the kind you used to get for being student of the month. My manager was all "I'm sure your gonna love that." But I also got a 100 dollar gift  card to

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to find a pair of glasses.
YES.

I need to get my eyes checked out, but I'm too lazy, so i was looking at frames on the optometrist site and sheesh. I don't think there were any I liked, which was difficult because they all looked the same. And if *I* don't like the look of them, they are not going on my face - even if I can't see them.

I was really lucky when I went to get new glasses this month because the optical assistant was so helpful and I got a very comfy, very snazzy pair that everyone seems to like. Except my grandmother who told me first they were nice and then a week later said she changed her mind and that they were awful. Trinny and Susannah have nothing on her. I haven't worn contacts in years since they bothered my eyes but there's all sorts of newer types on the market now so I might treat myself to some for Christmas.

Yay for certificate getting! I don't know what your manager's talking about, I love that kind of thing. And a gift card is not to be sniffed at either.
