So I aint gonna lie. Last week I got baked and watched the Linda McCartney...and it was the trippiest experiance of my live. She fucked Jim Morrison! Mick Jagger was on an episode of ER! It had bad narration! The same dude who played Paul McCartney in "BackBeat" played him! Can he not get other work? Also Linda? Dude, I read two Beatles books back-to-back last month, and I loved learning about how Paul and Linda met. Before reading up on them, I had no idea she'd slept with other rock stars prior to marrying him. It was fun getting the goods on their relationship unlike John's and Yoko's union. Those two were just plain annoying though I know that John did have plenty of issues from childhood to contend with. Anyway, Paul and Linda 4eva, man!

Oh yeah, I loved how Bob Spitz book was all "Linda was awesome yo."

I didnt like Shout though. I think it was too hard on both Paul and George and made too much of a case about Paul not inviting Yoko to Linda's funeral, and I was all "Pfft" when he was all "Yoko never badmouthed Paul!"

Haven't read Shout yet. Two books was fine, but I need a long break from the Beatles. When I did a Google search to see what Beatles bios were most widely recommended, lots of people recommended Magical Mystery Tours, and I was really expecting to enjoy it since I'd been looking for a book that focused mostly on personal anecdotes. However, I have to admit that I had to drag my through it more than I did for the gigantic Spitz book. It was interesting to get an insider's perspective, but there was just something about Tony Bramwell's writing that put me off from start to finish. He just came off as very "cool" and all because he knew the moptops. Obviously, it is cool that he knew them, but he's so annoying about it, IMO.

Mick Jagger was on an episode of ER!
I'm running on waaay too little sleep right now, so I misinterpreted this to mean that the real Mick Jagger actually was on an ep of ER in some crazy sweeps-week stuntcasting. And I had a vision of him being brought in and pissing off Benton and then Carter had to put up with Benton's bad mood the rest of the day.
