That sounds cool. I look forward to seeing pictures once you get it - I realize this will not be right away. My tattoos are on my legs. And I love them. :)

I'll definitely get some up once it happens. Yeah, unfortunately it probably won't be awhile for monetary reasons. >.>

Ooo, neat! That's one place I've thought about getting it...but I'm still not sure.

I've been thinking the same thing lately. I really wanna get an HP tat and the DH symbol has been stuck in my mind as an option, that and the words "mischief managed" Idek!

The DH symbol is just so nice and simplistic, it just works. And it'd be hella hard to screw up if the tattooist has ANY skill at all. X3

See, you'd have to find a very interesting place to put such a phrase. XD I like it, though! XD

True and if someone sees it and knows HP they'll immediately get it. It's perfect!

Hehe very good point. I think if I combined it with the symbol people would understand it's about HP. But I'm still thinking about it, all I know for sure is that I want my first tattoo to be potter related :)

Hah! That's nice. It was like that for me with the Dark Mark. I always knew I wanted a tattoo, but never knew what until I saw that.

Do/will you have a job where tattoos are frowned upon? Because then someplace invisible while you have clothes on would be better.

Yeah, it's going to have to be somewhere easily covered. I'm studying psychology and looking to get a degree in counseling, so it's best to appear as what is usually deemed 'professional.' (Bah!) So probably something easily covered by a t-shirt and jeans; maybe on a wrist.

The Dark Mark? Full size? On your left arm? :D Cool!

I would WANT it, but I can't do it because of the job thing. I'm studying english and German, no idea where I'm going with it, and I don't want to run around with long sleeves at work for the rest of my life.

Ahh, yeah. :( Such a sad thing. I wish having a tattoo wasn't still seen as being unprofessional. I mean, I can understand it to some extent when people go to extremes, but it's frustrating when it's just a little tattoo or two. :\ Alas. ^^;

That's so interesting, because I've thought the same thing recently, too (for same reasons, also!). Still not sure if I'll ever get it, hah...it has taken me 2 months just to decide if I really want a third ear-piercing:)

Oops, I can't count. 2nd ear piercing. Not that it matters!;)

Whoops, saw this after the comment. XD But the second one isn't bad at all. :3

Hahaha! Well, it's good to give something like this a bit of thought. Piercings will close (except, er, for some of the creepier gauges), but tattoos are tremendously more permanent. X3

I've been thinking about the tattoo thing for several years already, just without a proper image. ^^; It'll be months yet before I have the spare funds, so by then I'll have had time to make sure it's what I want. :3 (I also want a third ear piercing, and perhaps to get my other cartilage pierced. :D I just haven't gotten to it. X3)
