(I'm alive, really... I've just been going through a disinclined-to-blog phase mostly due to lack of fandom enthusiasm and association of blogging with fandom. I do have a few more chapters of Chains which I'll probably throw up in the near future, that is, as soon as I put them in .rtf and upload.)

Hi!

Whoa, snowing in Seattle? Seriously? O_o That *is* weird.

Japan's pretty nice this time of year, actually; it just started getting cold a couple weeks ago. Everyone said last winter was unusually cold, so I'm crossing my fingers for warmer weather this year... also planning to visit home over Christmas.

How's things with you?

Good luck with the end of the semester! I am looking forward to the end of it myself -- ah, a few weeks off work! Our students are in the last day of their final exams today, although classes will continue for another 3 weeks in which they'll mostly be winding down (and I suppose the students who failed will be taking makeup classes, given the usual way of handling failure on major exams. It adds an extra horror to blowing the final.)

Those classes sound really cool, but also like a lot of work. Are you enjoying the EE major?

I'll be here till next July, then I'll head back to the States and get a teaching certificate (about a one-year course so I'll need to find myself a temp job as well). In some ways I'm looking forward to going home, but I am enjoying Japan, too. I'll just have to bring all my friends and cool co-workers home with me!
