I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a happy new year! 2011 went by so fast I can hardly believe it. (I'm still working on that ficmeme for you guys, really, I promise.)
I dreamed a dream that was a crazy cross between Star Wars and Madoka. There were rivers in winter involved, and brilliant white spaceship interiors, and changing clothing to be more suitable for something. And then the next night I dreamed I killed Bob Dylan by impaling in my old neighborhood, and was trying not to get caught.
Another dream: a continuation of that songmages one (idk if I ever wrote about it), like the next book in a children's/YA series or something. I, the young female protagonist, was attending the annual meeting again with my brother and our teacher. On a stop in a white restaurant, we discovered a man whose singing obviously spoke of the Talent. When he took a break from performing, our teacher spoke with him and then they set off to the meeting through a plate of water. I was nervous about following because of the loss of my paper airplane familiar Whisper, and sure enough our sibling attempt to follow caused a commotion as I screwed it up, but I woke before anything else happened.

Work is dull and sameface lately; been off a lot from DD which is p. good I guess. Will's party was like 2 weeks ago; it was nice to see everyone ♥
I need to get Skyrim. Will probably go for the PC version because I spent all my Christmas money on that Emperor Lelouch figure I preordered; overseas shipping is expensive, man, and the dollar-to-yen conversion rate isn't what it used to be. Lately though I've mostly been playing Wind Waker, which I got for Christmas since our copy apparently got tossed with the GameCube when it died and I'd been having a real hankering to play it.

1. Get a regular job with benefits, preferably a full-time one.
2. Have enough time and money that I can afford to go back to school part-time without accruing tons more debt.
3. Stop beating up on myself and letting people walk all over me.
4. Improve my ability to read social cues so I can better read sarcasm and suchlike, and so I can be more empathetic.
5. Let go of my anal perfectionism and tendency to edit while I write so I can actually write more.
6. Learn to not let the little things get to me so much, and ditch the passive-aggressive bottling-up thing.
7. Learn to better motivate myself in all things instead of just reacting to outside forces all the time.
8. Improve my mastery of the languages I already know, and learn a few more.
9. Have my relationships fully accepted not only by society, but by everyone with whom I interact. (Never gonna happen.)
10. Work for the Library of Congress ♥
