...just worn out by pirates. So Y'arr: A Pirate Cabaret happened, and was awesome, and I didn't get to sleep until 4 AM Sunday morning (a choice I'm still recovering from). I AM QUITE BUMMED AS WELL. OMG Amy, it was...so right up your alley. Also, the audience was AMAAAAZING. At one point, we had a multimedia segment, and when the curtain started to be pulled back to expose the projector screen, someone yelled out, "TAKE IT OFF!" <3 <3 <3

SOMEDAY I WILL MAKE ONE OF THESE AWESOME EVENTS (Slutcracker 1000000% I'd never miss it).

I had doom from being in the ER all night Friday + waking up early for King Richard's Faire Saturday so I crassssssshed. I had a ride to Coolidge arranged and everything :(

Next time bb. And yes, Slutcracker - I'm in 2 numbers this year! Seriously, I'm sure it's fun to watch and all, but let me assure you, it's 10x more fun to be backstage having a dance party to Journey (which is what those of us in Act 2 spend all of Act 1 doing, BEE TEE DUBS).

I keep getting worried that HIMYM is going to let me down like every other show ever, and hedge my bets somehow, and then it turns out to be FUCKING AMAZING OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

One thing I was saying to fox1013 last night is that -- and this is hard to say in a way that makes sense, but -- this show really knows it's characters so well, you know? Everything they do seems to come out of who they are in a way that's so hard to do.

Seriously, I feel like the HIMYM team should be teaching a master class on the Classic American Sitcom Format or some shit, because they've got it down, they're very good at it, and yet it's also not stale or uninteresting.

ALSO WAY TO ARC A PLOT ACROSS LIKE, FOUR GODDAMN SEASONS. I love that shit! BrOTP!
