Delayed home improvement post!
About a month ago, our lovely friend Nate came to visit for the weekend while his brother and girlfriend attended BronyCon 2014 down in Baltimore (and the BCC, the same venue as Otakon, it so happens). And yes, it is indeed pink. The concrete foundation and the garage are both that pale peach-ish pink. It actually doesn't look that bad with the siding and shuters on the front of the house - the siding is a sort of warm gray, and the shutters are a kind of maroon shade.
We really ought to repaint, though, as one side of the garage is apparently white (it faces away from the house, so you never really notice), and as you can see from the photo it's a bit gross near the entry door (lots of splash from the roof dripping right onto the concrete slab has made it dirty and moist, encouraging lichen and stuff to grow there).
