Heck you have no right as a patron, much less a library worker, to deny other patrons a book which the library has deemed acceptable. The ALA has rules in place

Ugh, that's sickening. It's essentially banning a book, and a step from book burning.

I've seen reports of people ( Fundies esp. ) taking library books and reporting them as lost, and then not paying the fine so they can remove "objectionable" books from the shelf permanently.
