I wanted to try something different with my starter. I had it out and prepped because due to the addition of the AC to the household it is now no longer cat-meltingly hot in the entire house.

I decided to make pretzels. Soft pretzels, with cheese sauce, and with multiple flours.

We have AC! It looks a little funny but it works.

So we were donated a secondhand AC. We've had a comedy of errors in trying to get it set up. we just keep flubbing the measurements on the plexiglass spacer that the complex insists be used. Also it needs a stabilizer which might be considered a fire safety hazard. But i'm really really regretting the time it's taking to get it set up because it's ( Read more... )

pregnancy hormones suck. I'm fighting a minor depression. It's not even triggered by anything important. I had a fail at being helpful at work yesterday and i'm still beating myself up about it even though it was such a small fail. even carrot cat being legrubby this morning doesnt seem to have helped ( Read more... )

I just sang i'm a little teapot bout 20 times for my niece emma. She kept saying again... and after the 7th-ish time she said teapot-again. By the end she was trying a little to mimic my movements.

It was fun but tiring. And in two years and some months i'm going to have one of those. I'm going to be so tired.

It was a wonderfully fun wedding. My brother rickrolled the guests during the post wedding processional. His sense of humor is encourageable. It was somewhat more stressful than it needed because carrot decided that friday evening and saturday morning was the perfect time to do her seizures. You know i would almost prefer to be having a day of scent sensitivites rather than sound sensisitivites. If the sound of 3 fans going at once nearly makes me deaf in my own living room it's not a goodness.
