About two years ago I was hired by a local small press (who shall remain unnamed, and likely you haven't heard of them) to create some illustrations for a website they intended to design. Thanks!

Those are SERIOUSLY lovely and visually really interesting to look at and break apart (as all steampunky things should be!) I hope you find some use for them, even as portfolio pieces!

Thank you! I'm proud of them, they took a lot of time and research. I should add them to my portfolio, as unpublished pieces, I guess?
And I'm thinking of using the image on some business cards to take to the Maker Faire this weekend.

These are fantastic, and I bet I know someone who might be interested or able to hook you up. His name is Jeff Mach and he runs the Steampunk World Fair in NJ. http://www.oneiroievents.com/thesteampunkworldsfair/
I wish you'd mentioned this sooner as the fair opens tomorrow and he'll be quite busy for at least the next three days, but even if he doesn't want to use your work for his site, I bet he would know someone who needs a redesign done.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll introduce you by way of email (often the easiest way to get in touch with a fellow as busy as he is).

i love these! glowy colors, pudgy mushrooms, tesla coils, mysterious drawers, pods, skull with resigned expression leaning in its hidey hole, heart heart heart.
