I have returned to my fake smile and forced up-beat voice desk, after returning from my nourishment errand. Due to the lack of availability in this particular region I was limited to McDonald's or Taco Bell. Given that I have partaken of Taco Bell's new Spicy Chicken Burrito numerous times now, I decided to have a change of pace and get a Crispy

..make you feel ungrateful? Just a bit? I'm trying to get over the whole I'm-never-satisfied attitude of mine - not easy. Are you online right now? We've been doing *this a lot.

Yes, it does make me feel some-what ungrateful, but at the same time not. Because althought I am not able to be fulfilled as easily as the McDonald's man appears to be, it is not that I am ungrateful. It is just I may see the world differently, and I don't believe seeing it differently and having a different opionion on how the world works is wrong. Just think that never trying to see it from another view is wrong, which is why it made me think about all of that so much.

I know a guy like that work. Edgar is one of the janitors, one of the most humble and kind people I've ever known. He goes about his business, cleaning up, always saying hello to everyone and such. Most of this, of course, comes from the fact that in his spare time, he's a precher, so his faith lets him be content just doing menial jobs, because it doesn't matter how much money he makes, his life is full. I wish I could have that kind of faith, but skepticism doesn't allow that in me. I can tell you what is it is. It's society. Today's society puts that pressure on us, telling us that you can't be happy unless you make a certain amount of money. Cost of living and quality of life these days are in deirect relation to how much money you have. That's the American way. It's the people in your life that are the most important. And no, I can't say that I live by this, I'm being hypocritical, but as I write this I'm realizing the truth behind it. It's not the money that matters, I know that, but these days, money makes the world go 'round,

I agree, it is partially the money. But what I was refering to more so was the fact that he's not trying to go anywhere or buy anything greater. He's just happy with paying for what he has and nothing else. I only work a better job because I want to get out and see the world, don't care much about expensive things and such. Traveling and meeting people and seeing some of the amazing places in the world are what attract me. It has just always been hard for me to grasp how anyone can be content not to do that as well since it's so important to me.
