OMG!!! I LOLed so hard when I read that Sanada didn't recognise ATOBE as THE Atobe Keigo!!! *laughs* When I read the first chapter I was rather certain this was a somewhat AU fic, this chapter proofed me all wrong!

Excellent chapter! Can't wait for the next!!!

It will kind of be explained in the next chapter x] And this is an AU... though it's Au in the sense that we'll never find out if it's canon or not :P

I admit, when I read the first chapter, I kind of wished Sanada would recognize Atobe and be all flustered. But eventually, I accepted that things would be interesting in an AU where the two had apparently never met.

But now that we discover that they have met, and apparently already have something of a history together, I'm honestly finding it a little hard to swallow. I'm having trouble suspending my disbelief because it feels like something has flipped 180. I also now find it hard to believe that Sanada and Atobe have introduced themselves to each other and it's taken until now for either of them (especially Atobe) to suggest they know each other and have for some time.

Perhaps this sentiment is merely an artifact of the way the story is chaptered, but I certainly preferred the first ~4000 words of this installment to the last ~2000.

We'll see how the rest plays out. Hopefully it will all make sense and be satisfying in the end. :)

Thanks Phantom, I appreciate your input and thoughts. I would explain things here about how I'm viewing their relationship at the moment but I fear it may be slight spoilers for the next part (where I hopefully have explained myself a little better).

erulisse wanted a gruffer Uke!Sanada, so I made him be more of a man. I mean, it would be FAR too easy if Sanada would go weak at the knees right now, am I right? :D

It's true, at this point, I'm only seeing a very fragmented picture, so I didn't want to come off too harsh because I do like the premise and it seems to have lots and lots of potential.

As for Sanada... I don't consider him much of a man and I suspect you know it. I consider him a vessel for my own sadism and the only one who can dominate a bitchy Atobe. ;)
