You had me totally enraptured in those first two paragraphs!
Because they put me in heaven, dammit. I *love* that smugness Casey has for knowing he is the reason for Chuck’s weariness….*sigh of happiness*
*Okay, next dying at Chuck coming down in a bed sheet* Yum.
‘stand the fuck down’ heh.
Loved that spurt of emotion that made him use the name ‘Alex’.
Oh, all of these sweet stories of younger days. I just love how you took this approach of each year!
Does that book have special meaning, or did you just pick it?! :)
Wasn't the 'hug' glorious? God, I could sit here and watch that for awhile!
Thank you so much! I'm loving all of it!
((HUGS!!!!!))

Nothing says love than a very smug NSA Agent or a naked Chuck innocently seducing his boyfriend into the shower.
Funny thing about those stories. I hadn't been planning on including the daycare mission or the day Alex left into this but they just somehow fit.
C: Dr. Seuss is a wonderful author. You could say Chuck realises a few things on that mission if you catch my drift ;)
YES. I had that on loop for a little while. See, men can hug! C: Our Casey is actually capable of human emotions! Who would have thought.
I am very glad you are enjoying this! Wouldn't have done this without you and your prompt. :) I just hope I'm doing it justice.

(I've never thought about signing up for NanoWrimo, though I probably should've since I wrote Kin during the month of November (it might be cheating that I started it on Oct 30 actually? - I have not added up the pages or words yet, but ... I should, because I bet it is up there! One of those things that just kept building, you know?)
It was funny because as I was reading it, I was thinking of a scene I have coming up in Way Back, which also *cough* includes water and slippery boys in the shower, so hello! The more shower scenes, the merrier in my book! LOL!
I do love that clip. Sigh.
Aw - thank you!!! Yes, you certainly are giving it justice! :)

(I've been participating for the past 3 years, but am such an incredibly slow distracted writer that I never make the deadline hahaha. Kin was an absolute joy to read and it's great to have writing that just self directs itself. I'm pretty sure you've surpassed the word count twice over if you had :P)
Water and Slippery Boys! Something to look forward to. Unf, fandom needs more shower scenes a-yup.
So agreed. :) The look on Casey's face before he hugs. <3
I'm very glad! -huge hugs- :D :D :D
