So...Sci-Fi on the Rock is this coming Saturday and Sunday. (Our local geek convention.) I'll be there both days. Meaning I need two costumes.

Given that I'm there with the Anime Society, one of the two must be an anime costume. I'm currently planning on finishing the pink outfit from the second Card Captor Sakura movie. This, I think, is what I'll ( Read more... )

Agreed, sci-fi character would rock, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a short brown haired one myself, I think most sci fi characters seem to have more flourescent dos :D!! As for a short haired lady ( ... )

I know that Danny Phantom isn't anime. ;P However, I classify it as sci-fi in that it regularly uses random technology (Fenton Thermos!) and Danny got his ghost powers through the portal - a machine. So ha! XDDD (Yes, I know this is tenuous reasoning.)

Thanks for the suggestions! Yura is tempting, but I think she falls into the list of costumes I might do once I move out... XD

I'm not actually going to take any of your suggestions at the moment, but they did get me somewhere that I'm pleased with! I'm going to go as an artificial human! <.< Aka Yuki, from Haruhi. In her band outfit with the cropped red jacket. At least, that's the current plan! ...Do you have hot pink knee socks I could borrow? Or, for that matter, a belt that would work? (big interlocked rings?)
