12. AU. Lovino's grandfather sends him to live with Antonio. Lovino complains about how small his room is, how they only eat simple Spanish meals, and how Antonio always orders him around. Then he realizes Antonio's room is even smaller (he gave up the master bedroom for Lovino), he can't afford to make the kind of meals Lovino is used to and still feed the both of them, and Antonio's 'orders' are just him begging for even a little help with the housework.
13. Spain is on the run from a group of humans. The other nations don't know this and set out to find him. They're confused why every time they think they've found him, they find evidence that he left in a hurry. Will they realize that it's not them he's running from before it's too late? Bonus: Spain is implicated in a crime, and they think this is why he originally ran.
14. AU. Eight year old Alfred, disobeys Arthur's rule to never go down to the basement. There, he finds Antonio locked in an old cell. Antonio was kidnapped when he was a young child and has been imprisoned most of his life. Alfred befriends him, and worries about him. One day, Alfred tells his teacher that he's worried about Toni. When asked who Toni is, he says: "He's the boy daddy has locked in the basement." The teacher calls the police.
15. Romano realizes something. Spain's past lovers have all been abusive. Spain loves him. Romano wonders what this says about him, and he promises himself that he'll try to be less violent. In the meantime, he's going to be taking a close look at all of Spain's relationships/friendships. Because if he thinks being abused is normal...
16. Some days, Romano had to walk on eggs shells around Spain. On those days, anything could cause the normally cheerful nation to burst into tears.
17. Spain: "Romano says I'm PMSing. I don't know what that means. I would have asked him but he stormed off after I threw the cake at him."
18. France, to prove he's not a complete pervert, tries very hard not to take advantage of a drunk Spain. Bonus: Another Nation is there to supervise.
19. America has a problem. There is a kidnapper targeting those with dark hair and green eyes. Law enforcement is at a loss, so America asks Spain, who is just the kidnapper's type, to go undercover. Everything seems to be going well... then America loses contact with Spain.
20. Human Male: *to Spain* "So, how much?" *leers*
Spain: *confused*
Prussia: *pulls Spain behind him and glares at human* "He's not for sale, you jackass! Besides, you look old enough to be his grandfather; what kind of pervert are you?"
Spain: *has no idea what's going on*
21. Xover with Criminal Minds. If the BAU met the Nations, without knowing they were Nations, how would they profile them? Was just thinking of carefree, clueless, not-so-bright Spain who wouldn't hurt a fly and loved physical contact. And the fact that, as a Nation, he is covered in scars that seem to be evidence of severe abuse.
22. Spain sleeps in nothing but a too large t-shirt that comes down to mid thigh. Romano thought the image was far more seductive than if Spain slept naked. And Spain wasn't even trying.
23. France forces Spain to pose naked for photographs. It's for his own personal use, but it's still forcing Spain to do something he doesn't want to do.
24. "Spain, why are you wearing France's clothes?"
"He told me to. I don't know why, though. They're too big and the pants keep falling off."
25. AU. Lovino is obsessed with his Spanish classmate. His sketchbooks are filled with nude, verging on pornographic, drawings of Antonio; and his walls are covered in candid photos of him. Feliciano is the only one aware of this unhealthy interest, and grows worried when Lovino asks Antonio out on a date. Because he knows that once Lovino has had a taste of Antonio, he will never let him go.
26. Spain loves Romano. Romano doesn't love Spain. Spain finally realizes this and moves on, starts dating someone else. Romano doesn't like this. Spain can't just leave him. Romano may not love him but Spain was still his, damn it!
27. Spain is so upset by something, that it translates into physical illness.
28. Spain: "Germany, what's BDSM? Lovi says you do it with Feli. Is it a game? Is it fun? How do you play?"
29. France gives Spain a sex toy. Spain has no idea it's a sex toy and is trying to figure out what it is. He ends up asking Romano. Who confiscate the sex toy.
30. Thanks to England, Spain is blind in one eye. Romano is the only one he's told. England doesn't even know.
31. It started out consensual, but France did or said something that scared Spain. France didn't think Spain was serious when he begged France to stop.
32. France: *tries to get 'friendly'*
Spain: *shoves France away* "Not tonight, Francis. I have a headache."
33. Romano carves his name in Spain's back. With Spain's consent.
34. France suspects Romano is abusing Spain, so he spies on them. Turns out, they just enjoy rough sex.
35. Spain was scared. Romano didn't know who these men were, but if they had Spain this terrified...
36. Romano likes to drive fast, especially when Spain begs him to slow down. But this time, it's raining, the roads are slick... and this time, when he ignores Spain's pleas, he takes a turn too fast and flips the car down a steep hill. Romano gets away with minor injuries. Spain, on the other hand, is in a coma and is on full life support.
37. A human slips something into Spain's drink. Prussia sees the man leading a drugged Spain out of the club.
38. America teaches Spain to dance hip hop.
39. Spain doesn't understand the difference between fantasy and reality. Right and wrong. The first time he killed someone, he was only curious. It's really the only reason he ever killed. France and Prussia, and Romano to a lesser extent, are the only ones who know. And they try their best to take care of Spain and keep him out of trouble. Even if keeping him out of trouble meant washing the blood off of him and covering up a murder.
40. AU. Antonio was raised by his schizophrenic older brother. One moment his brother was kind and loving; the next he was a monster. Antonio is beaten, threatened with knives and guns, locked up and left bleeding. He is too afraid to tell anyone, and as this is the only life he knows, he doesn't realize that not everyone's home life is like this.
41. Romano was always worried that France and Prussia would take advantage of Spain. He never expected that he himself would be the one to take advantage of Spain.
42. Spain: "France is gonna be mad."
?: "Then don't go back to him. He doesn't treat you right."
43. Romano and Veneziano are trying to get Spain pregnant. They don't tell Spain.
44. Spain, despite what everyone but Romano believes, was born not long before England destroyed the Spanish Armada. England has no idea that the only reason he won that fight was because Spain, though physically in his late teens, was just a child. Spain grew up too fast. Now, in modern times, everyone is beginning to realize that the reason Spain is so childish, so oblivious, is because his mind hasn't caught up to his body.
45. Spain didn't understand the danger they were in. Romano keeps him ignorant.
46. Romano decides he needs a break from being a Nation and disappears for a few years without telling anyone he was leaving. But the night before he leaves, he and Spain sleep together. Romano had no idea he got Spain pregnant that night.
47. Rome accidentally killed the real Spain when Spain was still a baby nation. Luckily, he met a strange man by the name of Count D. Xover with Petshop of Horrors.
48. Romano would never admit it, but he and Germany are a lot a like. They both love airheaded idiots. And they are both wrapped around said idiots' fingers.
49. A quick way to get Romano to panic? Get Spain to start crying.
50. Lovino is insanely rich. And, also, extremely possessive of his boyfriend Antonio. When they go on dates, he reserves the entire location so he and Antonio are the only ones there (other than essential employees). Antonio loves him, and is mostly happy living with him. But he misses being able to talk to other people face to face. Especially his family and his friends.
