[Youko can breathe after noticing the wolf is friendly. She was afraid when the youma randomly jumped out the shadows. Afraid because she knew she was helpless. Even if she had learned some fighting movements from her hinman, she didn't have a weapon and the idea of killing Rikaku made her sick in her stomach.

She had felt scared and helpless.

Youko beckons the wolf to come closer, so she can pet him.

But I'm glad Rokuate didn't unsheathed the sword.

In her fright, she had completely forgotten how dangerous that was!]
