Some people have been asking me questions, despite the answers being online in various places. I guess going to the director seems to be the most direct way to get info. I apologize if this is old news for some.

Q: When is Ouran being released?
A: Tuesday, October 28th

Q: How many episodes?
A: 13, the first half of the show.

Q: Are there extras?
A: Yes.

I have...it's just that the icon just happens to be that precise frame =P

Anyway...so glad these DVDs are not being sold "The Old Way"...I used to have to wait for Box Sets of everything I liked (Excel Saga, FullMetalPanic!Fumoffu, etc). And of course, the outtakes always brighten up my day ^_^

I showed my mom the FAQ to try to convience her to get me the DVD for my birthday (I'm probably gonna be buying it myself. No worries though I made some money over the summer), and she thought the same thing about the icon. XD And no, that isn't the reason why I'm gonna have to buy it myself. :)

Will it be ready by Anime Vegas? (and if not, will there be any screenings?)

I know it's a longshot, but I *am* going to Las Vegas for Labor Day weekend :)

Thanks for the answers, though I did know most of them just from watching the video on FUNimation's site of the press conference/QnA session. But it's nice to see a finalized list of extras (yay for commentaries- I LOVE seeing these for animes, and yay for outtakes- those are great too), and a confirmed price. Hopefully, stores will make it much less, lol. I'm such a cheapskate.

I think I'm going to have to order this from the U.S. I'm too impatient to wait for the Australian release, and besides, I want that calendar!
