Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life.

Very appropirate words for this season in my life!!

I will do my best :-) I really need this one right now, that's for sure. I tried to find a different verse for today, but so far, this one still seems appropriate.

Hope all is well with you and Ann. Any news on Baylor yet?

Well, they have my transcripts, and they said I'd passed into the next phase of their interview process, whatever that means (I thought it meant that I was going to go interview in person, but it's been a few weeks since I heard from them so...). I did get the email on Monday that they'd gotten my transcripts, but that's all it said. Not sure what to make of that. However, for that I have my own verse:

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

I try to remember that, and that even if Baylor falls through God still has something good for me, but it's still quite stressful not knowing.
