I'm back at my original church now. Only this time, i'm working the media crew. I'm working double duty this weekend; doing Saturday pre-resurrection service and the actual service the following morning. Truth be told, i'm glad i'm missing Anime Matsuri for this now cause 1. I need to go to Easter service and 2. I feel more grown up for not going to H-town. I'll have PLENTY of other opportunities to go there before I move to Atlanta later this year.

Heh, I wish you and Tony were around cause I would LOVE it if you could come to my graduation party. You mean SO much to me growing up spiritually and mentally. :)

Peace and love!

One of the things that strikes me about the story of Jesus's death and resurrection is how in control he is during the entire time. He knows everything that's about to happen, and could easily avoid it. His enemies think they are in control, but they are really doing his will. More than just being in control of events, Jesus also has amazing self-control. To face all of that and push forward anyway, knowing exactly what is going to happen and how painful it will be...that is truly amazing.

What a great perspective. It certainly encourages me to move forward in my small endeavors. Their difficulty seems insignificant in comparison!

Well, considering that we're not Jesus, even insignificant difficulty is quite reason enough to go to Gethsemene and plead with God until we're sweating blood to take it away. The important thing, I think, is to get to the end of that prayer and still be able to say "not my will, but your will be done."
