Well it looks like I have some work at the Arbutus West Animal Clinic. Part time to start, but they are willing to pay me a decent wage and train me up from where I am (with pay increases). They rock because they see a lot of different kinds of animals including rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders and all the weird little ones. They also don't board ( Read more... )

I know, I am excited.
They totally plan to train me on drawing blood and putting in IV's like right away. That rocks. The only tech there is actually a doctor from the Phillipines (who isn't licenced to practice here), so he doesn't care if I do tech jobs.
Only I can't imagine putting needles into some of those really small animals. It will be an interesting challenge.
