from last week's Globe: Utilities may limit new natural gas connections. The story is about Western Mass., but I wonder if your local gas company is encountering similar supply problems and is reluctant to add new customers?

You need a new oil company. That one you have is useless. No quality oil company would leave with oil actively dripping. None of this "eventually comes back" they should get there NOW since oil dripping is not only a fire hazard, but it is a hazardous waste spill, which turns your home into a superfund-like site with super expensive cleanup. And real quality companies don't wait for the owner to ask for services that the owner doesn't even know exist, or that the owner doesn't know the proper name for.

Get a new company!!

hi! ::waves

I like my oil company, but I have a feeling that my company which is located in my town is a little too far away from kirkcudbright's home.

Note that many oil companies used to send out notices to get an annual contract with them, and if you sign up you get a book of monthly coupons that give you a deal on oil (such as $100 off per month) but you have to remember to include a ticket from the book with each payment, and eventually you forget or lose the booklet...
